Scheduling was a bit of a problem, but once the work was completed it was well done and exactly the way we wanted. It involved not only traditional rain gutters but also running part of the gutter via PVC pipe through a storage closet in the carport to the outside of the driveway. Cleverly done

I called several times for a proposal. Finally they sent someone to look at the property to do a proposal. He was very nice. He told me no problem this is a job they would like to do so I was looking forward to hearing from them. This is a four (4) three-story building complex and the gutters are in need of replacement. After a month of waiting, I didn't get a proposal. I called them back and they said they lost the paperwork because someone quit working for them. I was told that they would send someone else out to meet me. I had to beg for their service and I think the lady said yes, just to get me off the phone. I ask why they do a lot of advertising and don't give proposals. This is a sizable job for them and I need a proposal. The estimator person never showed up. So, I called back and was told they had to reschedule the job but would call me later. They never called me back. This may be a small project because it is valued at about $30,000 but they will never get it because they are so unprofessional They are full of excuses and do a lot of advertising. They are wasting their money. I heard later that they are very selective in who they work for and snub everyone else. I was never rude to them and always nice even having to beg them for a proposal. I tried to find their office to go talk to the owner but was told they don't allow people to come to their office. I would never do business with this company. Let them waste money on TV advertising. I didn't report anything on price because they never gave me a price. I joined Angie's list to find a new contractor and see they are listed here. Don't use them is my advice.

The staff were very knowledgeable. The quality of workmanship was very good, great attention to detail. The staff were polite and helpful. Daily job site cleanup was very thorough. Very satisfied with job well done

on day of install, their trucks blocked our neighbor's driveway and they would not move to allow them access/after install, i found TONS of roofing nails on the ground,in the gutters and on branches of potted plants/old shingles not picked up-strewn all over perimeter of roof/large pieces of black waterproofing material strewn about property also... i have/took pics

Tropical Roof and Raingutters are very professional, do good work, are prompt and fast, and are excellent about fixing problems such as joints that need resoldering. They did what they said they would do and did it in a timely manner, including coming back months later to finish part of the job that had to be delayed until another structure was out of the way. The crews are very nice, professional, and personable, and they do a great job of cleanup each day.

Called for a service quote on my covered basketball courts roof on 3/19/2013. Someone said they would come out to place the quote on Thursday 3/21/2013 at around 1:00pm. From my best memory, I believe he came on time. Gave him a spill on the roof and condition and what I wanted done. He said he'll do his thing and I should receive my quote in a couple days. Not sure what he did or how he quoted my job but he did what he needed to do and left. Several days later after non receipt of my quote, I called to check the status on it. Girl who answered said she will have Dwayne he estimator give me a call and send me my quote. No call was returned. Called back 2 days later and same answer, same result. After bombarding their phone lines in the days to come I finally get a call requesting for an email address and or fax number I would want my quote to go to. Provided it and said they would send it out right away. Never got it. Finally, my executive director called their company to speak to an upper management to get what we needed done while on the phone with them. He said, he will fax it out as soon as he could get his hands on my quote. The next morning on 4/3/2013 I get a fax from this company with my requested quote. I was satisfied that the first part was finally done. Took a look at the quote and it was over priced and not even a worth looking at. prior to this quote, I received another quote from another company with the price set firm at $11,570.00 and a map to show me what they plan on doing which was everything I requested. Immediately I jumped on this company but we were outraged at how overly price this company has charged us. That's a $28,000 difference... Will not recommend this company to anyone in the future...

a) the price(s) the sales consultant provided for the roofing and solar fans were pre-tax but not noted on the quote tax was added when I was invoiced through e-mail - after much discussion, the original pre-tax quote was honored b) roofers chucked shingle pieces and lining material, along with roofing tacks with bright orange "washers" over the edges of the roof - tacks were in the rain gutters, all over the ground, shingle chunks as well, + lining material strewn about c) roofers were very quick in installing, save the littering, I would have rated overall professionalism "C" instead of "D"

What actually happened was 2 guys showed up with a ladder and cleaned out the gutters by hand in less than 2 hours. No special scaffolding, no taking apart and reassembling the downspouts. I was surprised and I called and asked to speak to the owner as I assumed that the sales guy had made a mistake. . The owner told me that they bid high when they don't really want to do a job, and that if we were stupid enough to take the high bid that was our problem. He said that normally they would have charged about 500-600 for a job our size. I said his salesperson had told us of all this extra work that would need to be done, which didn't have to get done, and was basically lying to us about the scope of the project. The owner's attitude was "too bad you're so stupid". Finally, he said he would reduce the amount from 1931. 78 to 1200. This was still at least double what we should have been charged (according to his own admission). I can't believe that people this dishonest stay in business. At least they cleaned the gutters - but they were quite happy to charge us double the price! Even $600 is expensive when you think about it... 2 guys with ladders for 2 hours? Come on.
