I am still waiting for them to call me

He never did work for me. I signed up and paid for a full day service, at $360. He was not available on the days that I chose, even though the website showed availability.

Very well, definitely going to keep calling Paul for help.

Very well. He did good considering how many more jobs he had to do that day.

Handyworks came by to see if he could do the job, and I was told yes. I figured they would have taken notes on what materials were needed then. Finally set a date for the work to be done Handyworks showed up figured out what needed to be done then was gone about approx 2hrs looking for materials. Only to tell me he can't figure out how to do the job, and still have the gall to charge me $90 for his time. I was very excited to have him do the work after the first meeting and extremely disappointed in my choice after. In my opinion he should have known the day he came to give estimate what his capabilities were. And yes Handyworks I did figure out how to get that 2 inches you said you needed.

Great work ethic and attitude. Will hire again.

Good. Prompt knowledgable and courteous

It was very good. His work was excellent. When I called him in, he assessed what I wanted him to do. Initially I had told him I wanted a lot of wooden work replaced because I thought it was damaged-termite damage but he assessed it and realized I didn't need everything I had asked him for. So he just replaced the things that were necessary and I thought that was good because I think his price was fixed rate so the longer he stayed, the more it cost but that wasn't what he was trying to do. He was good on the followup and the call.

He came when scheduled. He was very efficient. He stayed within the time frame that he gave me to do the work. He was on-par with the price he quoted. We did not see any overage. He is reliable, does his job well, and brings his own tools. He maintains the schedule that he gives you so that you can feel comfortable that you do not have to worry about hanging around for him. I plan to use him again in the future.

They did an okay job, the painting was not as good as it could have been but the other work was very well done. We called 4-5 companies and this is the only one who responded back. He should have done things better.

Fantastic, great responsiveness. Good quality workmanship. Cost conservative. Good value. I would hire this guy again.

He was very skilled, pleasant, cared about his work, was neat and clean, a pleasure to interact with and we felt completely comfortable having him in our home. We are very pleased with his work and will use him again. One trick is to text him in the early morning to connect with him. When he is working during the day, he tends to not take calls and he's not always the quickest at returning his voice mail. However, he likes to show up early for his jobs and wait in the car. If you text him then he will get right back to you and your communications are quick and easy.

Job went well. Handyworks was the only one with the ingenuity to repair the fallen mailbox post rather than to remove/replace it. That saved a considerable amount of time and money, less than half the cost and probably less than half the time as well. All in all, very much pleased with the service performed.

My experience with HandyWorks was just average. What they did is okay. He didn't come back for the last day. I guess it was work he didn't care to do. I paid him every day. I don't prefer to pay people up front, but he needed the money, so I paid him every day. He did good workmanship but he's not too reliable.

THere are circumstances beyond our control. I considered his being late( for 1 1/2 Hours) on his first appointment because of a flat tire even if he didn't call. The next day, I called him to ask that I will be late for an hour because the minor surgery I was undergoing took a longer time than usual but he didn't check his voice messages and was UPSET I was going to be late, so he left without even informing me he is not doing the job! Very unprofessional!

For the 2 1/2 days that he was there, he was extremely knowledgeable, punctual, effective, and pleasant. He did a grade A job, was reasonable, and I would totally have him do more work when I need it. Thank you Paul!

All we wanted him to fix the door bell wiring. My licensed electrician only took him one hour to fix it. But it took Paul a full day to look into it but never fix it. Fencing need to be lifted up but he broke all the corner of our wooden fences. Overall, He damaged them all. Don't want to talk about the disappointment anymore. He still own us apologies.

Paul Brightinghouse (owner) came to my condo - measured area to be done and gave us an estimate for the total job. Price per hour was competitive, but time estimate was considerably longer than other estimates. He was very personable and friendly.

It went great!. I have no complaints, only complements. I will call on him again when I have jobs to be done.

I originally wrote a very positive review for Paul but it may have been premature. He started the job very professional but was easily frustrated when we were making minor changes. Unfortunately, had he provided a complete understanding of all work involved in the changes we would not have moved forward and stuck to the original plan. A professional would have made a homeowner aware of this difficulties invloved as homeowners are not handymen. He complained about the waste of his time but I couldn't understand this as he got paid by the hour. He appeared professional until very small changes upset him. At the end, I felt his behavior was erratic and dissrespectful and we had to ask him to leave the job. I was disappointed as we thought we found a reliable, honest trustworthy person. He comes off as honest as he was listening non-stop to a christian radio station while working. I think he needs to rethink Christian values. Remember when you pay someone by the hour if they are not skilled jobs can drag on for long periods of time. I might suggest going with someone who can provide an estimate that you can agree to. I am sad to say something negative but hopefully this will be helpful to Paul and others.

Paul was really great on time even though I wasn't. It only took him four hours to do to put new drywall and framing in our guest bathroom I'm making an appointment now to get him to finish the bathroom floors and walls with tile because he really made it very easy. Was a big relief for my husband to come home and have all the work finished.

Paul is great. Always calls back and gets the job done. We will definately be calling him for future jobs.

Paul showed up for the job on-time and performed the work as per the estimate. The work was completed as promissed and in a very professional manner.
