Concrete Repair
This person is not licensed! He claims to be licensed but is only using his uncle's license. Why would you hire someone who lies about being licensed? Don't be fooled by how he claims that he's an active church-goer. The work that he was hired for is still incomplete. He made many promises but has failed to follow through. Do not use this company despite what good things you may hear about his work. His strategy is to do an ok job with a couple of customers, use those customers to spread the word to their neighbors (even offer customers free stuff for referrals), then do a crappy job at your place. Those customers who speak good things about him do not know that the materials used to hold their walls together and the depth of their footings are all lacking. If they only knew how shallow their footings are and how their walls are now cracking, they wouldn't be speaking good things about this con man. One of my walls for example was less than 5 inches below ground even though it required a trench that is 18 inches deep. Just ask the homeowners at La Hiki at Mehana and Kahiwelo at Makakilo. There are many cases where he did not complete the work he was hired for. Even other contractors know that he tries to save money by using too much sand and not enough cement on his mortar mix .
For those who have problems with this person, my suggestion is to report him to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Regulated Industries Complaints Office (RICO). Just do an online search for checking out businesses in Hawaii to get more information. Note that his last name is Vaenuku, not Vaeneuku. This is probably another attempt to make it harder for past customers to search for him. He currently has 1 past case where he was found guilty of unlicensed activity and two current pending cases with RICO.

I am too angry to describe all terrible things about this company. My recommendation is not use them.
