house cleaning
+ -1 moreI went down to the house early on THE big day - a day I had been looking forward to for 6 years. We were finally sold and I was meeting the buyer there. I planned to rake and scoop leaves out of the pond one more time, then go home, eat breakfast, and shower before returning. But when I saw the house in the daylight... OMG, I could not believe it. I spent the next three hours frantically cleaning as much as I could, ran home, turned around in the shower and went back, out of breath, wet hair, starved, and frazzled. The maids showed at 9 to do the room that was missed, leaving me to explain to my buyer why they were there when he arrived. Vikki (the owner) made excuses why things were not done and said SHE was disappointed! SERIOUSLY! you made 500 bucks for doing nothing. I let her know I would not be paying the additional invoice she left on the counter for another 145 and told her I don't do excuses. If you don't like it sue me, I have photos. Penny
Description of Work: Maui Maid was supposed to clean my home top to bottom for my buyer. She told me she didn't like her maids on ladders so I spent a day doing all the high work, cleaning the top of the cabinets and all the shelves and fans. She said they couldn't move and clean under appliances - so my husband did it late the night before our buyer came the next day. I also spent an hour that night cleaning the vent fan over the stove. Then I discovered they also missed and entire room and called Vikki. She said she would send someone out the next day (the day my buyer was to arrive at 10 am)
