You would have to be insane to hire this firm! I just got back from Small Claims Court (12/09/2009) trying to get back monies that I had to expend due to the lies and perjuries of one of their agents, a security guard, who lied to the police to have me arrested and charged with harassment. His lies were so overt and obvious (backed by a video tape of the events he swore were true to the Court, but which were obvious lies on the tape) that I was found not guilty after a 2-day trial. However, this matter stretched out over 18 months, causing me enormous aggravation. The company knew the guard was a liar and a psychopath but did nothing at all to stop his actions, provided no competent training to him and failed miserably to provide oversight and guidance. When I phoned United to complain, I found the phone number provided by one of the managers was not his number (never heard of him), that the email address he provided was not valid, and furthermore, his name changes from first-to-last and back again when he gives it out. The company, United Security Services, Inc. has repeatedly failed to enforce the Rules and Regulations of our Condo Association, despite numerous complaints to the Association. They also fail to show up for scheduled job times. Other employees also lie on a regular basis, despite being sworn to tell the truth. When I attempted to get back the several thousand dollars that I had expended to hire an attorney to defend myself against their employee, I overheard another person libeling me concerning my dealings with United and the owner of United, who was present, did nothing to contradict this libel even though she (the owner) knew the accusations were false (if the owner bothered to read the various Incidence Reports generated by her employees). Finally, two days ago (05/20/2010) the Board of Directors of our Condo Association summarily fired United Security, for reasons I am not privy to, but not soon enough for me.
Description of Work: Hired to protect the residents of a Condo Association in Mililani, Hawaii, this firm started out by not showing up for work on numerous occasions, then not performing the jobs they were hired to do. For instance, the permitted overnight parking by non-residents (which is forbidden by our Condo Association By-Laws) on 09 January 2007; 11 January 2007; 15 January 2007; 16 January 2007; 23 February 2007; 01 March 2007; 03 March 2007; and on dozens more occasions that I have documented. When informed of their lapses, and employee named Patti lied to my wife and told her I had angrily slammed my fist on the employee's table--later she told my wife that was a lie. This was just the beginning of the lies told by Security Guards who are sworn to uphold the truth. Finally, in November of 2007, the liar who had me charged in Court, named Jeremiah Keohuloa, wrote me a Citation in which he lied and said I had littered and then later I discovered that he had also lied to his company and to the police telling them I had stolen money from the car of employee Patti. When my wife wsas informed of this, she viewed the security tapes of the times in question and no trace of me was seen on the tapes. For some reason, this employee decided to teach me a lesson, and although he himself had had a TRO placed on him by a family member because he tried to give drugs to a minor family member, he felt I was a villain for demanding that this company follow our Condo Association rules and do what they were paid for. He then called police and lied by saying I had tried to run him down in my car; had unleashed a gale of pejorative language at him; jumped out of my car and invaded his "reactionary space" to taunt him to fight me (I am a 65-year old handicapped male who cannot jump out of a car). None of these activities were substantiated by the security tape that he provided to the Court, and so the case was dismissed leaving me with a hefty legal loss. The two employees were clearly neither trained properly nor had any background checks to see if they were security material.
