Submitted the lowest bid. Crew of four arrived on time, spent the whole day trimming the trees, chipping the cuttings and cleaning up afterwards. They were very considerate of the coming and goings on the small multi-use driveway. Very professional crew. I would hire them anytime.

We used Loren Johnson to take down a tall Norfolk pine back in 1997 and were very pleased with his professionalism, so when we decided to have our coconut palm removed I dug out our old receipt and looked him up. I was pleased to find him still in business. I called him up and he came by within a day or two to give us an estimate. I called back to schedule the work on a Monday and gave him a couple of possible days that would work for us. He scheduled it for Friday and gave me an approximate time because he was coming from another job. This took a couple of phone calls because either I wasn't available or he wasn't available, but I thought it went smoothly and was professionally handled. On Friday his crew arrived right at the scheduled time. The tree was in the backyard on a slope and close to some neighboring houses. It also had a sewer outlet pipe nearby, so we were a little concerned about the process. Loren's crew was very professional and managed to take it down without any damage. They cleaned everything up very well. And as an added bonus, Loren carved a petroglyph in part of the stump that couldn't be removed, and carved a great looking tiki on a section of trunk that we placed under a bamboo in another part of our yard. The whole process probably took about an hour and a half. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I thought the price was fair but didn't check with other providers.

the work took 2 days and was charged by a daily rate. The 4 man crew accomplished our goal each day working very hard making the most of each hour. We stayed in contact with the "boss" throughout, working with him to ensure our desires were met .There was flexibility in the work schedule to accommodate any changes we had. We believe we received a big bang for our buck.

I was referred to Loren Johnson of All Paradise Tree Service, by Joshua Tree Service. I spoke with Loren three times over the phone. The first time was to schedule an appointment, and he said he would try to schedule me within the next couple days. He never called back. I called him the following week to see if maybe he forgot or was so busy that he was booked. He vaguely remembered who I was. He was on the job when I called and it seemed like I was inconveniencing him. He didn't put me on mute as he discussed setting up an appointment with one of his associates. I thought this was very unprofessional, as he was discussing an appointment time and compensation with his associate while I was on the phone overhearing everything! No one ever called me back to confirm an appointment. But, after that phone call I decided that All Paradise Tree Service was not the service for me. I found someone else who came the next day, who charged me less than what Loren was going to charge me, and who did a wonderful job. Loren called me the following week to see if his associate had come to trim my trees. Very disappointed in the service and professionalism. I would not recommend this company or Joshua Tree service.
