Still waiting for City to inspect and close out permit then Net Meter Zeroing Contract from Hawaiian Electric. Roger's said they put in the request but I hear they are big time backlogged at the city. Got my first Electric Bill since installation and it was $17.00. I'm very happy with that. Will be interesting to see how much system puts out when we get longer days and more sun in the summer. I'm looking into an electric vehicle now.

We called the company to schedule for an estimate, he was very informative on the phone. The owner showed up the following day with some good initial insight regarding our water heater, unfortunately the rest of the visit did not follow in the same fashion. While setting up the ladder to access the roof he became flustered regarding the aluminum seamless gutters. We were about to attach an osha approved stand-off to the ladder which previous contractors who worked on the house had given me to keep from resting ladders directly on the gutter themselves. Hence protecting them from needless damage. This sparked him to declare that he would not be responsible for damaging our gutters on the day of panel installation/hoisting. I then stated that it was unacceptable to cause damage to the gutters. Instead of coming up with an alternative solution such as me renting a lift, clarifying on their panel hoisting process, or using alternative means to hoist the panels up to the roof he threw a temper tantrum in my driveway stating "Your too picky about your gutters" and that the bid is over. Following this he begins to slam his ladder around, loads his truck and hastily backs out of my driveway. We found this company through HECO calling them because they were close and we didn't want to hassle threw multiple estimates just wanting the job done right. I believe most people on this sight use it to see if the person they are hiring are mindful of customers property, not a company that has little regard for collateral damage. I can only imagine if I actually used this company what other things he would find acceptable to damage.
