Description of Work: I had a 9-year old water heater that leaked and provided hot water only intermittently. First, I contacted other services, but their prices and/or responsiveness weren't satisfactory. Then I got smart and called my contractor (who'd built the place), and he immediately recommended Johnno at South Pacific, Johnno answered immediately, and three hours later was on site, gave me an estimate of parts and labor, and arranged to do the work the very next day. He showed up punctually at 9 AM as arranged, after giving me a heads up call to let me know he was on the way. He worked quickly, quietly and efficiently, asking my help only once on a very minor chore (holding a pipe in place for a minute), cleaned up his minimal mess, and disposed of the old tank. I paid exactly what he estimated, and now I have a top-of-the-line water heater giving me scads of hot water on demand. I'm extremely satisfied with all aspects of the job, and commend Johnno highly for his outstanding professionalism, punctuality and pleasant personality. He answered every one of my questions succinctly, made recommendations about alternate forms of heating and among various brands of heaters. Here on Maui it's tough to find a deal where you get your moneys worth. I feel I got my moneys worth, and more, with South Pacific Plumbing.
