They were awesome. The work quality was exceptional. I know because I looked at other roofs who used other installers. They have their own staff, nothing is sub'd out so their team is exceptionally good. They arrived on time, finished on time and did exactly what they said they would do. We could not be happier. The roof has been in place for over six years now and still looks brand new.

A very smooth transaction from start to finish. Chris Yonkers was quick to respond to make initial quote. Actual job was done in a very professional manner and they did an excellent job in cleanliness. As a tip, when getting roofing quotes, a cheap quote does not necessarily mean the best quote. Make sure you double check the quality of materials and there applicable warranties. Not all roofing shingles are the same. With all said and done, I would definitely recommend Wilkerson Shake Roofing to others.

We have a shake roof and I wanted to replace it w/ a new shake roof. This was quite an expensive project, so I was very worried about it and the risks of a botched job. I requested written quotes from two vendors, and Wilkenson's price was about 6K cheaper than the second bidder. Chris also did a much more professional job at showing up when he said he would, giving me a formal written quote, and responding to my questions. He also put me in touch with contractors that would help us remove and re-install our solar water heaters, and these contractors did a good job. We were pretty nervous about a bunch of roofers in and around our house, but the guys showed up and were all business, where I didn't get feel like any of them were 'sketchy' or seedy. They did the job in three days and got out of there. They didn't even ask me for payment, but I promptly paid them under the requirements of the contract. The absolute best part was that we have a 3 story house that had debris in the gutters that I don't dare climb up and clean. Not only did the roofers do a great job on the roof, they also cleaned these gutters out for me, which would have cost me a lot of money to hire separately. They removed all old roofing from the house and didn't damage any of the surrounding landscaping. My only small complaint is that they finished the house in three days as planned, but never told me that the job was complete, so I couldn't tell when I should have the solar contractors return to re-install my water heaters. These guys did a good job in all respects.
