Steve oversaw the project from beginning to end. He and the workers came promptly at 8:00 in the morning, every morning. Steve would instruct them on what to do and would check in on them in the afternoon and at the end of the day. Steve would always inspect the work at the end of the day.

Steve and his workers arrived on time each day and they informed us the scope of work for the day. They did a great job in rewiring, changing of lights fixtures, outlets, and switches. SJ's prices were very competitive. We were glad on deciding on SJ Electric. We have no hesitation in referring SJ Electric, LLC to anyone.

Mr. Chon, is an Old School Expert, that is now rare to find in Hawaii these days. My washer power plug and wall socket started to catch fire. Other companies stated I needed to rewire my whole house. Mr. Chon informed me it was just a bad outlet. I ended up with 3 projects. It took him only 10 minutes for each project. His price was 1/2 the price of others. I am so very impressed with Mr. Chon, I am looking for other projects for Mr. Chon to attend to. I am 75 years old and have never been so impressed with the service and professionalism such as Mr. Chon & SJ Electrics.. Thank You, Mr. Chon & Home Advisor.

He emailed me to ensure he would be on time and showed up at the scheduled time. He quickly figured out the problem and completed the repairs quickly. Best electricians I have hired.

Excellent service to upgrade electrical system. Great communication and service. Will use them again when there is another electrical project. Thorough explanations and always went out of his way to do the very best. I gave 5 stars for value for money spent, but actually Steve was the first person I hired for the job since his presentation was so impressive, so unable to make an informed comparison.

With a 46 year-old condo, I was concerned about various electrical problems. Steve listened, inspected, and then made clear what I really needed, and what I did NOT need (complete rewiring to replace aluminum with copper). He had his friendly, efficient crew replace all plugs and switches, 3 bathroom light fixtures, and the range hood, as well as the circuit breaker box. They showed up on time, finished in the time allotted, and made sure the work was approved by us. Steve came every day to check and bring supplies. Excellent service, reasonable price.

Reliable, friendly axperienced and very neat

The owner of the company, Steve Chon, is very professional. He came to the house, did an estimate, and suggested that if we did all our work at one time, he could give us a substantial discount. We had a house full of 45 year old fluorescent fixtures, many of which did not work after our recent blackout. Over a three day period, his very efficient and knowledgeable crew replaced 34 fluorescent fixtures with LED ones that look better, last longer, and use far less electricity. We added a few extras, which he carefully calculated as a separate job at the same discounted rate. They finished it all within the original three day period. He even sent a person to clean up everything after the electical work was done. I would certainly recommend SJ Electric and will use them again. Meanwhile, we have a two year warranty on all the work they did.
