+ -1 moreRoger was great! Communications were handled by the lead contractor, but while he was at the house, he was very courteous. His knowledge and professionalism in his area of expertise is extremely high. His work ethic, attention to detail, and job site cleanliness is unparalleled. The granite counters were mounted seamlessly, with the back splash behind the counters going all the way up to the bar, which also was done in granite. Cutouts were made in the back splash for the two power outlets, which were replaced by an electrician to match the color of the granite (blue pearl; very dark). Since the granite was purchased in 9 foot slabs, there were several feet left over. Roger used the remainder of the granite to make a back splash for the stove, and did a fantastic job of it. I would (and do) recommend Roger at Ropa's Marble & Tile to anyone looking to have stone work done.
Description of Work: Roger, of Ropa's Marble & Tile, was sub-contracted by the contractor who was leading the charge on our kitchen remodel. After my wife and I selected the granite we liked, Roger picked up the order, cut the counter and backsplash to fit our U shaped 10x13 kitchen counter-tops (to include a raised bar on one side), measured and cut out the penetrations for the sink and faucet, mounted the granite, and precision leveled it so it's practically seamless. This service included professionally sealing the granite, which lasts for five years.
