We sold our house and planned to move in with my wife's sister while we complete the design and construction of a new home. We created a floor plan of what we needed to take (I'm an architect) and what could fit at my sister-in-law's home. We called M. Dyer and Sons, Inc. for a quote to move those items to my sister-in-lawy's home (a local move) and a quote to pack-up and move the rest of our household goods to M. Dyer's storage facility. A representative of M. Dyer came out, looked at what we wanted to do, surveyed our items, and provided us with two quotes a couple of days later. We returned the signed offers and scheduled the requested dates with M. Dyer. As scheduled on the morning of the local move. M. Dyer arrived on-time and packed-up the items we requested, drove to my sister-in-law's house, unpacked and placed them where we had indicated in our floor plan. M. Dyer completed the entire evolution within one day, and they charged the quoted price. The crew was courteous, professional, and efficient. Local moves are a tough job because the crew exerts tremendous effort to pack-up & load the items onto the truck, then gets rewarded at the other end of the trip by having to again exert tremendous effort to unload the truck and place the items in their new location. I had taken out insurance with M.Dyer because the move included our piano and some other items with sentimental value, but there was no damage. My hat's off to the M. Dyer crew! Very good experience. About a week after our local move (a planned delay to allow us to retrieve any additional items we didn't want to go into storage and not see for months), M. Dyer came back with a different crew and packed-out the remaining items in our former home. This evolution took two days. We had put in some do-it-yourself effort and had packed quite a bit of our stuff ourselves (Lowe's had fantastic packing supplies!), but we left the kitchen, most of my home office, and our large upstairs storage closet for M. Dyer to pack. Though it was a different crew, this crew was also very courteous, professional, and very efficient packers. As planned, we're functioning well at my sister-in-law's house and the rest of our stuff is in storage until our new house is completed. So far, so good. We're paying approximately $500/month to M. Dyer for storage of our household goods, and we look forward to calling them in about 6-8 months to move our stored items into our new home.

Thus far, it has gone well. They packed everything up well. We are currently awaiting the delivery of our belongings.

We unpacked everything in May 2012 (the furniture had been in storage for 11 months in Hawaii and Ca.) and had zero damage. The packing was excellent and the firms Dyer used in Ca. were super.

Start to finish- you must be kidding. Overall, it was fine; that's the key in all this; I just don't have the time or energy to tell you how they wrapped things and so on; it was the move of the belongings in our house where we lived for 40 years; it went well; end of story.

They were great. I would give them an A.

They packed things well and didn't break anything. They were pretty timely with their delivery dates. They are very friendly and come in and get the job done. They are very consciousness about how they pack things.

Navy move. We didn't have a choice in the company that moved us in, but we were very impressed with M. Dyer and Sons, Inc. The workers were pleasant, careful with our belongings, alerted us to missing boxes from the inventory sheet, and recorded completely the items damaged in transit. We would use their services again in a heartbeat.
