carpet installation
 + -1 moreThey had the carpet in stock so there was no waiting on the carpet. We got a great sale on the carpet and they matched the price of competitors. They installed it in several rooms in the house. They were knowledgeable and honest.
Description of Work: Home Depot installed my carpets.

 + 0 moreMy wife went to around to a whole bunch of places, and we got some carpeting from them, and they were excellent. They were very prompt, they usually have to wait a month out here in Hawaii, and they came out within a week or 10 days, so they were prompt, and courteous, and every thing was just like we like it. The price was fair.
Description of Work: I used Home Depot Inc. They did some carpeting.

 + -1 moreDON'T BUY FROM HOME DEPOT. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY WHO WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. .
Description of Work: I purchased a dishwasher (approx $550.00) from Home Depot. I scheduled it to be installed by one of the business cards I received from Home Depot. The installer was on time as schedule and had the dishwasher installed but, when he opened the dishwashers door it would not open. The dishwashers frame was delivered with a bend in it. The bend was so slight that it didn't cause a problem until it was installed and then the frame could not bend out to open. I had the installer remove the dishwasher and had Home Depot send me out a new dishwasher. However, the installation guy had to charge me for a second installation which Home Depot refused to reimberse me for. Home Depot sent out the first dishwasher with the faulty frame and now I was stuck with two bills for installing it a second time. ($249.00 + $249.00). This was almost as much as the original price of just the dishwasher. I feel that Home Depot should reimberse me $249 dollars for the first installation since, Home Depot failed to check their merchandise before they delivered it. It was their fault they sent out the dishwasher with a bent frame. Buyers beware when you purchase from Home Depot.... They don't care if they send you faulty equipment they won't back up their crappy equipment. The only thing I am happy about is I currently purchased a new home that needs a new REFRIGERATOR and new WASHER and DRYER and a new WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM for the whole house and I WILL NOT BE GOING TO HOME DEPOT FOR THESE PUCHASES BECAUSE THEY DON'T DESERVE MY FUTURE BUSINESS.
