Drainpipe Plumbing & Solar

I called on a Monday and was given a Thursday appointment to replace our dishwasher and kitchen sink. They gave me an estimate of 2 to 3 hours for the work and a $95/hour rate. They called Thursday to reschedule because another job was taking longer than expected. Ody came Friday, replaced the dishwasher, and started on the sink but ran into a problem because we measured wrong and the new sink was slightly larger than the opening. We had someone cut the granite on Monday Ody ended up coming a few hours later to finish the sink because he was in the area! The company called me Wednesday to give me a verbal invoice before processing the payment on my credit card and the price was right on point - about $250. I had called a plumber friend on Oahu to find out what a reasonable price would be before I started the search for a plumber over here and the price was an exact match. I highly recommend this company for this type of work. They responded to emails and phone calls in a reasonable time unlike the other 2 companies I reached out to (one didn't even return my call at all). Considering we had to ask them to come out a second time, I am so impressed with how well Ody handled the inconvenience.

Very professionally performed work, cleaned up, and when I noticed. A very slight leak the next day they wasted no time coming out to fix.

What was amazing is it took this company less than one days from telephone call to show up and fix the problem.Were talking Hawaii here no one responds that fast in Hawaii .They did a great job ,cleaned up after themselves and quickly resolved the problem at hand . I would definitely recommend this company and yes I will use them again as well as my property manager will also and she has hundreds of rentals that she takes care of. a win-win situation for everyone involved .

Drainpipe Plumbing and Solar did my original solar water heater installation for my house, some 20+ years ago. Their work was excellent. Attention to detail on all of the fixtures, tie-downs, and insulation was first rate. The owner, John, was very responsive in answering all of my questions at the time. More recently, they did an inspection of the solar hot water system as part of the contract for installation of new solar PIEV electrical panels. That work was paid for by the general contractor, so I don't know what the cost was. The inspection was done in December 2013. However, my system sprouted a leak in April 2014. Drainpipe came back in and fixed the problem, no cost! How's that for service. I heartily recommend them for their excellent quality and their willingness to stand by their work. My solar hot water system is over twenty years old and still going strong. That one leak in April is the only trouble that the system has ever given me. Count me as a very happy customer!

Went well except the lead installer was very much a sexist in my opinion.

I Used Drainpipe plumbing and solar for installing a new Septic system. They were prompt, delivered the services as promised on time and did some additional trenching work for the catchment system for free. They leveled the place better than how they found it. I am extremely satisfied with their work. I will use them again without hesitation.

They did a great job. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

Everything went quite well. There was an issue with rain preventing roof access. I think they could have got it done in less time, but not bad. The problem is that the panels face north-east! They have no idea how to calculate compound roof and tilt angles. They did offer to change the tilt, but I decided I did not want to deal with it. The electrical hookup to the tank was a mess, but the house was being rewired anyway, so it was re-done as part of that.

They were to move our solar panels today (we were putting on new roofing) and finish up some plumbing they had started (it leaked). They quit in the middle of the job leaving my contractor hanging, the roof off and the solar panels in the middle of my yard. Their main plumber Billie had a bad attitude and they quit in hte middle of the job without returning my money of course. The work they did do was substandard. They didn't do anything they said they were goind to do and I had to constantly call them to try to get things done.
