Description of Work: Replaced upstairs windows and floor. Painted several bedrooms. Decent results but not above average. Poor communications regarding work progress and do not offer suggestions for correcting existing poor conditions that would result in a higher quality finished product.

The project had a number of problems which took a renovation advertised as 3-5 weeks of work and stretched it out over 6 months. However, none of the problems originated with this contractor and they did their best to play the hand they were dealt. They performed their work to a high standard and were always very responsive. They were full of valuable information and they noticed a lot of details--things we'd have never known of--that needed to be addressed in the interest of a quality renovation. We feel like they did it right. If we're disappointed in this contractor, it's only to the extent that they're not a and quot;one stop shop.and quot; Our problems originated with designers, material suppliers and secondary installers; while this contractor--who carried out the demolition and the overwhelming majority of the installation work--did an excellent job and did their best to compensate for the failures of others, we still went months without a working kitchen because and quot;the wholeand quot; was a mess. So in the interest of ensuring that and quot;the wholeand quot; is OK and not just the installation, going forward we'd have no choice but to give preference to a contractor who could be held singly accountable for all aspects of the work.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen renovation, to include cabinets, counters, sinks, lighting, backsplash and appliances. Total renovation cost was ~$60K but this contractor's portion was ~$18K.

Very good quality work. Very friendly and courteous and neat. They are very experienced at coordinating between the different services and subcontractors involved so things were headache-free. I think this would be very important for a bigger job, but might have been overkill for our very small project. Their portion of the job was very expensive in my opinion, and if we had to do it over again I would probably shop around a lot more and think I could've saved 25%. There was a little bit of a lack of attention to detail as there were a couple of finish and trim things which I ended up having to install myself (towel bars, etc) , and the tile installer had to scrape away more of the old mortar which was still on the floor in places. Having said that, we are very please with how things have turned out and we had peace of mind working with such a professional company with lots of resources, but it did cost quite a bit.
Description of Work: Dream did the general contracting for our bathroom remodel and did all of the demo and prep work. Tear out old shower, toilet, tile, drywall. Install backerboard, reroute pipes, install curb for walk-in shower, reinforce wall for glass panel.

Company owner (Chad), came out on the agreed date, arrived early and clearly explained what needed to be done to replace the damaged drywall. Chad provided an official quote later that afternoon which was right on with his estimate at the house. Contractor (Chris) was scheduled to start work between 0730 - 0830. Chris showed up at 0730 ready to start work. He covered all furniture in room with plasitic and placed drop clothes on floor to protect from ladder scratching it. All sheetrock which showed signs of being moist was removed and replaced with new sheetrock. Upper part of wall above window (not sure what to call it) was replaced as old one was damaged due to water. The new sheet rock was prepped, textured and left ready to paint as i opted to repaint myself. After Chris cleaned the work area, removed his tools and removed the plastic from the furniture he wiped the floor to clean up all the sheet rock dust that was created. Chris also provided a couple of pointers to make my repaint look good. Overall, this is a very professional company with professional employees. Will definitely do business with them again if needed!
