It has gone nowhere. When I call the number 9 out of 10 times, I get disconnected. Every service visit has resulted in not fixing my appliance and a new appointment in the future, not tomorrow or the next day....the FUTURE. as in at least two weeks apart. That means I have had NO WORKING appliance for over a month. The warranty is supposed to replace your appliance if you have 4 service calls in one year....OH BUT, they get to determine whether those calls were really service calls. So it doesn't count if the technician comes and determines he needs to order a part. Then it doesn't count if he comes, puts in the part and 24 hour alter the appliance is still not working....oh noooooo this is one big, long service call. You are still on one strike here. So I have had these people out there at least 7 times, that I know of, because this house gets rented sometimes, in this year, the appliance is still not working, and I do not qualify for a replacement under their lemon policy...ha, that is a good name for it. IT IS A LEMON. AND IT IS A POLICY. It is meaningless...a waste of money and do not even mention the time you have to put in waiting for these people and tracking them down on the phone, getting disconnected over and over again. It is a minimum of two weeks between appointments. Although once I called on a Saturday because I was determined to make them come sooner and they sent a guy that afternoon. So, it is not true that they have nothing available until two weeks, things come available, but you need to be on the phone calling and calling every day until they get sick of you, or some one takes notice of your pain and has mercy on you. There have been people who answer the phone at A & E whose job is to say no to your every request. Just call back, several times, and eventually you may get a human. Oh yea, and writing doesn't get you much either. Some guy offered me a 30 dollar gift card to sears. I told him to keep it. There is no more Sears here, wonder why?
Description of Work: NOTHING. I have had three calls since then and the appliance is still NOT fixed. Waiting on a fourth. Have to continue with them because I bought the warranty through SEARS!!! Warning, do not buy warranty from Sears. These are the people they send and you will be so screwed. Basically a warranty from Sears is FRAUD.

Description of Work: All dispatchers for this company are rude. I spolke to at least three of them. They, put you on the defensive for just calling as though it is an inconvenience. They are also argumentative and rigidly hang on the point of argument. They are arrogant and don't care about charging you an additional service charge for just getting a model number. There attitude is "we gotcha" and " I could care less." The service representative called me two hours before the appointment and said two appointments before me cancelled. He asked if I could come home from 22 miles away to open my door. When he realized he had to wait. He pulls the scam." I don't have your model number." I said I had called in the model number in.. He said that it wasn't on the invoice so he'll have to charge me for finding the model number and then come back with the needed parts. I said I called in he number. He said ,"If you no pay. I no come." and hung up.

Cannot recommend A & E Appliance, INC. I called for home service repair on our Whirlpool refrigerator water filter housing and hose line. The refrigerator is 12 years old and the refrigerator plastic water line inside the refrigerator behind the crisper had turned brown. I replaced the water line and less than two weeks ago and the line had turned brown again. Chris the repairman said I had used the wrong tubing and left. I was only charged for labor ? what labor, he did not know what to do? He called back to the office and they coached him. A water filter had broken and when I changed it out and charcoal had gotten in the line. I called over six times in two months to set up a follow-up appointment and would be told ?someone? or ?his supervisor? would call me back, at one point I spoke to Chris directly and he said he would call me back to set up a follow up appointment. That never happened. I have since went to the appliance store he recommended for the parts I needed and replaced the waterline with the correct parts. His lack of experience and the entire staff?s lack of customer service do not warrant patronage.
Description of Work: An inspection of the waterline that I had installed was completed. The waterline had discolored in just two weeks. He did not attempt to replace the line with the correct parts. He did however inform my spouse what appliance service store to go to to get the parts. I was charged labor for the visit. I wanted him to correct the problem. I had purchased the incorrect size waterline and he pointed that out during the inspection. He did not offer to replace the line with the correct parts/tubing.
