Work was nicely finished, the workers were stellar and very respectful. We kept being pushed back so timing was an issue. That said this is not the only firm we hired who had a problem with timing. This time of year everybody gets busy and tries to juggle too many jobs at one time. We would hire them again.

We talked with 2 firms that gave estimates that we felt were way to high. Precision Pro's estimate was about $32,000 which we felt was more reasonable. The final cost was a bit higher but that was because we added new things (like tiling the whole area around the island) along the way. We chose PPB not only because of the lower estimate but also because Chris and Skip came over several times to double check measurements and to ask questions to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted. The references Chris gave us also had very good things to say about their work. Chris and Skip and their crew were always concerned about the quality of their work and about making sure we were happy with everything. We talked often and tossed ideas back and forth. They were always very positive and helpful. The project did take longer than we had hoped but this was due in part to a three week trip that we had planned months earlier, some unexpected medical issues, and also to the fact that they were being so precise in their work. And, of course, no job goes exactly as planned.

Precision Pro Builders is amazing! They were so helpful in our decision process, from suggesting places to choose our flooring to asking us before making any decision on something they thought we may want to provide input or make the final decision. We just bought our house at the end of October and originally started to tackle the floor on our own, but realized right away we wouldn't have the time to finish the project before we moved in at the beginning of December. We called a few different contractors, and Precision Pro Builders were able to easily answer all of our questions and were very knowledgeable. They were timely and communicated quickly via phone, text, and email. Chris and Skip were able to fit us into their schedule and finish all of our flooring before we moved in! They even made suggestions on where to look for our flooring, we ended up going with a Pergo for our living area and bedrooms, and a nice ceramic tile for the kitchen. Based on our experience, we quickly let them know that we would like to hire them for our other big project - a complete kitchen makeover. We designed our kitchen at Home Depot and ordered Martha Stewart cabinets. In the meantime, Chris and Skip and their crew were able to prep for the kitchen install, including demoing a partial wall that separated our kitchen and dining areas. They rerouted all the plumbing and electrical that ran through the wall, and moved the switches to a convenient location. It really opened up our living space, and they thought ahead of all of the changes so we could order our granite countertops and have them ready when the cabinets came in. They also closed up the ceiling where we had them install a water line for our fridge. They retextured the wall and ceiling and blended everything very well so it looked seamless. Once the cabinets came in, Chris and Skip worked us into their busy schedule. I appreciated that when they came to work, they never seemed rushed, and would explain everything they were going to work on that day and their estimated time of completion. Since we were now living in our house, they took care to protect the floors and our furniture, and clean up throughout the project. Precision Pro Builders installed our floor-to-ceiling white cabinets, complete with decorative molding and cabinet handles. They made sure every soft closing door and drawer worked perfectly. Next, they had our gray and white granite slab countertops installed, complete with a cutout area for our sink. Next, the sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and garbage disposal button was installed - Chris suggested a button next to the sink for the disposal vs a switch on the wall, it looks very sleek. They also caught little things we didn't think of, such as moving more switches to fit the cabinets, and making sure the existing exhaust hole lined up perfectly with the new overhead convection oven. Chris and Skip made sure to come back and inspect all of the work, and to make sure we were happy with the final results. Chris is really into the details, he made sure everything looked great. The most helpful thing besides fast and excellent communication was that Precision Pro Builders gave us tips and suggestions throughout the entire process. We appreciated that a lot since there were a lot of little details that went into the projects. I would absolutely use again, and recommend, Precision Pro Builders to anyone looking for a great contractor company on Maui. Flooring, Cabinet installation, countertops, finishing work, plumbing, electrical ... they do it all, and do it well!

In a word, FABULOUS. We were in trepidation of doing this Maui project while living in Scottsdale, Arizona. Chris and Skip bid the job very professionally, managed all the sub-contractors, and finished a month ahead of schedule and on-budget - something very rare in Maui. One of their secrets is that they treat their subs well and pay them on time. Chris and Skip were a delight to deal with and even followed up promptly on various niggling punch-list items.

They came to my house to provide me with an estimate. Their ideas were awesome and I was very excited about what they came up with. "Their price seemed to be in line with others but the two men who showed up "sold" me on their knowledge and I chose them to do my shower. I have a one bathroom condo and my shower was unusable so time was a concern. When contacting them for a start date, I was having a hard time contacting them. Promises to contact me were not kept and I was in need of a shower. I had other contractors that had submitted estimates so I ended up going with another just because of time restraints. I ended up with an awesome shower and I'm sure these guys would have given me a great shower also, just the timing was off.

Their prices were outrageously. They were about 3 times what we ended up spending. The price was $40,000. They seemed like a good company and they would be thorough and do a good job. It was perhaps beyond what I needed. It just wasn't for us. They were offering a higher quality than what we wanted. We didn't have much interaction with them.

Very competitive in price quotes and work started on agreed schedule and completed one day early! Excellent workmanship and work ethic!! Highly recommended !!

They were there on time. The bid was in the ballpark. Follow up was good; I received at least three calls to check and see whether they could give any other information. Chose another contractor.

The whole experience was more than I had hoped for. They have electricians and plumbers they use and made sure they were there when they were supposed to be. They and my kitchen designer met with me several times to make the most efficient kitchen possible. They picked up everything I had ordered for bathroom and kitchen so i did not have to concern myself. I was working the whole time they redid my home so I did not want to have to take off work, find a truck to haul things etc., Plus they took away all old materials and appliances for me, every day. They did not leave messes at the end of the day. Great experience all around.

They were very friendly and I would have used their services if they had not insisted on an architect.

Maui's hidden treasure! I had been through two other people, one a Handyman and one a Licensed Contractor, and I was in real trouble. Money was almost gone and I didn't even have a working bathroom. They came in and the first day made sure the toilet was set. they had to rip out all the previous work. Their attitude was wonderful and they did the job right. I would tell anyone who wants someone who will work for YOU and with YOU that Skip and Chris care.
