Gail has been extremely helpful during the whole process of buying and selling my home. There was an issue that came up with our home not having the proper building permits, and she has gone out of her way to help with the county permits. She even offered to pay for some of the costs, who does that? Gail Swanson does!!! Our yard was not the tidiest, she hired a gardener out of her own pocket to give my property more curb appeal. She hired a professional photographer also to photograph my home for the MSL listing. We also had a flood while our home was in escrow and she was available to call a flood control company to help with the drying process, because I was away on vacation when it all happened. My hero, with out her on hands approach, my vacation would have been cut short. She also had several companies come to my home and give me estimates on the repair costs for the flood damage. I can not express in words how HELPFUL and DEDICATED Gail has been during our never ending escrow ordeals. She is the KINDEST real estate agent EVER! She does real estate with her whole heart!

She was not only our realtor but she became our friend. Her work was incredible. She also helped me find a person to handle the finances. The process was not easy but she was really on top of everything. Her enthusiasm and work was incredible. We live in Chicago and there is a five hour time difference between us. However, she was always a available when we needed her.

Working with Karen Williamson at Maui Earth Realty was truly a wonderful experience. I had a limited amount of time to fly over from the mainland and find my dream home. She gathered the data for multiple listings and communicated with me via email prior to my arrival on Maui, as if I were her only client. We spoke on the phone before I came over and she was so sweet and extremely excited to help me. Upon arriving and meeting her, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing Karen as my realtor. She spent a full day driving me to quite a few different listings. She carefully explained the pros and cons of each property. She was very knowledgeable and talked about living on the island for many years, which in my opinion was an extra bonus. She was prepared with detailed copies of the listing information for each property. There was no pressure. There was no rush. She listened for hours to the story of my life and I could tell she sincerely wanted to help me. Once I made my decision, she worked late into the night to get the offer documentation perfect, so I could fly back to the mainland. When I say she handled everything...she literally handled everything. Any issues that came up were handled with the utmost professionalism. She exudes a calm diligence to resolving any and all tasks quickly and efficiently. You can use whichever realtor you want, but in my opinion it is simply foolish to use any one but Karen. She has a way of making you feel very special. I could not be happier with the home I bought. It was the least stressful escrow I've ever been a part of...thanks to Karen. Karen is a very unique realtor, in that she truly cares.

Overall it went smooth and easy. I was on a very limited budget. She found me a lender who was SO easy to work with and we found out how much I could afford without getting in financial trouble. They helped me find a maximum down payment, at max total on a house. We put in our bid. We were never intimidated by the seller's realtor who kept bugging us to increase our bid. gail's honesty and integrity always made ME feel I was in control. It was always MY decision. After all the pressure from the sellers realtor, they excepted my original bid, and it was a smooth transaction from then on. With inspectors, tenting the house, appraisers, everything. I was never scared I got in too deep. I was never intimidated into something I didn't want. I paid the price I was comfortable with. ALL because Gail took the heat and pressure off me. She stood by ME and MY decisions. I've owed this beautiful home for 2 years now. Work is slow. But my mortgage payments are less than most pay for rent. And it's MINE.

Gail works very hard finding a buyer or seller on the property sheis looking for. She knows everyone on the island so she is great at networking to find a place.

Both the selling of our condo and buying our single family home went very smoothly. Gail worked very hard to get the job done and was very honest in all of our business with her. We especially liked that she donates part of her comission to the charity of the sellers choice. She really is a super realtor and we love the home she found for us!
