Response from ABC Tub & Tile Rescue Inc
This customer never paid for this job. The tub was refinished amazing (happy to upload pictures if there is an option to do that). What we figured out later was this customer had a "thing" about pushpin holes (yes, the kind that are so small most people don't see them). Even though pushpin holes are tiny, we take great pride in how we leave a jobsite (better than we found it- drop cloths, etc.) and we repair those tiny holes. That is our standard. For this job, we had to use push pins (only 2 of them) to hold up sheet to mask off the room during spraying since the blue painter's tape would not stick, and we always caulk and paint if that is necessary, and customer freaked out. He kept asking us if we were going to fix them, and we assured him (5 times total) that on our last day there, that was part of the final touch-up/ sweeping/ etc. Then the customer started complaining about everything. The texture, the holes, and whatever else they could find. We hired an attorney to assist with negotiations, but this customer to this date has not paid for the job (2016). This job was completed in April of 2014.
