This was a long term project of restoring the Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Kilauea and they did a fantastic job that included all aspects of our restoration. We intend to now continue using HKI Kauai for our ongoing maintenance over the next years so we keep this Historic property in the best condition we can afford.

Beautiful job remodeling our upstairs loft bedroom/bathroom. We had the tub/shower combo converted to a full shower and it was beautifully tiled. If I had more projects I would definitely hire them.

Workers were friendly, honest and efficient. Quality of work was very good. I did a major remodel of kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, painting, electrical and wall removal and siding repair. Also added a new concrete patio. Only thing was sometimes work slowed down when they pulled one or two guys away to another job. UPDATE** After my initial review which was good. I have since found so many errors in this job and although I have complained they say I have waited too long. I must accept that, but cannot ever recommend HKI not will I ever use them again.

They showed up on the day they scheduled and completed the work on the same day. Dependable is a must on Kauai Island.

These people play fast and loose with the dollars and cents. They give you a bid based on averages they have experienced in the past however it is just that, it isn't based upon the surfaces you have chosen. If you choose surfaces that are more expensive then their guess, they will charge more, however, if you pick surfaces that are less expensive, guess what, you are out of luck, because they say their bid was all in???? I asked for a bid to replace our Windows and have received amazing divergent numbers. I think that perhaps the numbers have more to do with what they think extract from me.

After hearing about horror stories about dealing with contractors in Kauai, I was very nervous about planning a major remodel of our condo. HKI and Mike took away all the stress and did an excellent job of handling all the details and provided excellent project management from inception to completion. They did a great job of analyzing the job, planning all aspects of the project, and organizing materials and manpower required. Their execution was flawless and they delivered a quality product ahead of scheduled completion date. Couple minor quality issues were promptly repaired. All of this was done without me even meeting them in person or even going to the job site. I was on the mainland and they handled everything. I had an independent party inspect the final product and take photos. They did a wonderful job! They are your turn key solution for all your remodeling needs.
