Description of Work: Murakami Roofing did an exceptionally good job. We had some shingles blown off by strong winds. I called four roofers for estimates. Murakami was the first to respond, sent someone promptly, and provided the best & most helpful information. They were the only company to suggest I work with our home insurance for a claim, and they were correct. Their bid was fair & reasonable, and they fit me quickly into their schedule. They finished the entire job in about 7 hours, and had about 10 guys working simultaneously. Excellent service, all the way around.

Description of Work: Met with Keha Ho from Murakami's who came to my house to examine the damage caused by the strong winds previously. He took photos that revealed many shingles missing that attributed to rain water leak into my living room area. He provided me with an estimate and later after acceptance of their proposal they did the following. Removed 2 layers of old roofing shingles and applied new ones. Had a crew of five workers involved, each of them professionals as they were able to complete the work in a day. Prior to their work, on request by me, they covered the roof where most of the shingles were blown off with a blue tarp to prevent rain water to leak into my home. Mr. Ho and his crew did a very good job on the roof. After their installation, another series of high winds ripped through our neighborhood. Some shingles came off and when I called Murakami's they sent out a crew the next day and repaired the damage. Everyone at Murakami's Roofing did a very good job repairing my roof. Quick, efficient and very professional!

Description of Work: Mr. Murakami was unable to complete our work per our schedule, but did refer us to a roofer who did. Mr. Murakami's bid was very competitive and local roofing suppliers informed he was one of the busier roofers. We are grateful for his recomendation

Description of Work: Murakami Roofing coated our roof with GACO silicone roof coating material, one that carries a 50 year warranty. The labor on the roofing is warranted for 5 years. The State of Hawaii only allows a maximum of 7 year warranty on roof installation labor. Their bid in compitetion with other silicone coating products (not GACO) with less robust product warranties was lower. The work was promptly scheduled and completed after a minor 2 day delay to the orginal start date caused by temporary non-availability of crew. The job was completed well and in 2days (required by drying of first coat before application of second coat). The crews Keha, Keoki and Ali were friendly, professional and extremely efficient.They were also very clean and left the work area immaculate. The finished job is great and at a very reasonable price.
