K. Schenk Electrical LLC Electrical were quite helpful on the phone . Kalana came to my house to view adding a new outlet in a bath. Instead of doing a bad looking fix. He decided to bring back another worker who was small in stature and able to climb through a small opening in the attic and thread a new wire through the inside of the wall and install the outlet with Kalana's aide flush with the entire wall. They used a shop vacuum while they made the cuts into the wall for the new outlet thus eliminitating any dusty mess, and took pictures of where bottles and bathroom sink items were before removing them so they could be put back exactly the same way when they were finished working in that area. They were polite clean on time and very professional. They were also very accomodating to keeping the area clean and neat before they left and I was very pleased with their workmanship. Thanks Angie This is the second time your service has worked well for me. Also, I needed help moving a coffee table and they did that too. When they finished using my shop vacuum, they emptied it and cleaned it out before storing it at my home. They did a great job in every way possible. ree

My husband has an engineering background but could not figure out why the ground fault interupter in the bathroom kept switching off. Kaulana found the problem and repaired it very quickly. Now all the plugs work again. He was prompt, polite and cleaned up the debris. We are very happy to find an electrician we could feel comfortable calling again.

The scheduling was easy with many convenient times available. The electrician arrived after the originally scheduled time, but it was not inconvenient for me.Their office phoned to let me know when he would arrive. I needed a new stove to be installed. I wanted a licensed electrician to tell me whether I already had a dedicated circuit or if I needed one and if I needed a special outlet installed or if it was ok to leave it hardwired. He quickly figured out what to do and was able to complete the work in one hour. He knew the code and what was safest for us and the least expensive option. He also helped me remove the old stove and move the new one into place. It was a very positive experience

Delay in returning phone call to set up appointment. However, when contacted again after several weeks, call back was timely. Has an excellent website reflecting company profile and work that can be performed. Website also enables customer to email and list work to be performed as well as list materials Electrician might require for job. Electrician was prompt, courteous, professional and returned original state of work area clean. In the future, would request breakdown of labor and material costs on invoice.

Professional, friendly, highly recommendable service. We recently purchased an older home with several electrical problems. After inspection, Mr. Schenk consulted with us about his findings and worked with us with consideration of our needs as a young family. After scheduling a repair date that was convenient for us, Mr. Schenk and his crew were able to make all the repairs, installations and upgrades as well as bring everything up to code. All for a legitimately reasonable price.

We purchased a home on Oahu and rather than hold up the sale decided to fix the items that the house inspector found fault with ourselves. After living there for a few weeks we found a few more items we needed an electrician for. Schenk Electric was the first company I called after seeing a positive report on Angie's list. I talked to Anela, the office manager, and she quickly set up an appointment for an estimate. Kaulana Schenk was on time and took time to discuss my concerns and the pros and cons of putting some of the outside lights on sensors which I decided wasn't what I wanted to do. Anela e-mailed me the estimate and since the fee seemed fair for the amount of work we scheduled the work at a mutually agreeable time. The work was done and he took pictures as I requested of hard to access areas (in the attic). After a few days we found that a few of the outlets which had previously been operational no longer worked but Kaulana quickly made a return visit and fixed that problem. Except for the final glitch everything went well. It's when everything doesn't go as expected that you can really assess the level of professionalism. Mr. Schenk's quick return visit made it possible for me to give him an A in every category and I will call him for any future electrical work.

Got to meet the owner "Kaulana" he came to look at and do the work. I was glad to see that he was local and very professional so that made me comfortable. When he came to do the job I told him that we had some family from the mainland coming in and I needed to have the job done in 3 days. He said that by the 3rd day all the work should be done. The work was done in 1 1/2 days. I was so SURPRISED..... He did what he said he was going to do and exceeded my expectaions. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.

They arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and started working right away. After testing, they started the work needed, including going into my attic and under the house for new wiring. They took out the old breaker box and installed a complete new setup, hooked everything up, then tested everything. The work was faster than I thought it would be, and I am happy with the quality they took in their work. I would use this company for my electrical work in the future.
