Checked our electric heater, the pump that pumps the solar water into the heater..checked all the connections, by process of elimination discovered the problem was under the house, a electrical wire that is responsible for the generating the correct amount of water heated by our solar panels was in need of replacement. He started early thursday morning..came back friday morning..stopped back again friday afternoon..to be sure the corrections made so far were functioning..and back again saturday morning to complete the job. We also had him come and install a garbage disposal, which he also did in no time flat. I also spoke with a woman, whom i thought to be his wife, she was nothing but professional and courteous. regarding the disposal. Regarding the solar panel..I was aware, every step of the way.. and watch most of what was being done..there were 3 of them 2 days, and 2 for the one day..they were all very professional, very conscientious, thorough and we are extremely happy with the work done. I especially appreciated him stopping by in the afternoon to check on the pump..to make sure it was working properly. We have not received a bill yet..and am not concerned..they got the job done, ensuring we were not without hot water..He is our "go to plumber"

The plumber provided the services needed, he fixed the leak. He had told me that the leak was due to the old pipes between the floors that was part of the buildings infrastructure. I asked if he could make a note of this on the bill so I could show it to the bldgs management since they said they would cover the payment if it was part of the shared infrastructure outside of my apartment. He said "sure he'd do that"...then the bill came, very vague no explanation of what was done $800. I called back got in touch with his girlfriend/wife explained the situation and what he had said, she told me if I wanted that done on the bill I'd have to meet with him and that would cost $65/hr. . I told her it was not needed to meet with him and that he could just jot down on the bill what portion was done to the pipes under the floor and what was done separately to my apartment. She insists that I would have to meet with him and that it would cost $65/hr. I then tell her that she can just send me a more comprehensive breakdown of the bill , I'll figure it out myself and remind her again that I am will willing pay for work done and would like to have the evidence to show the management so they will pay their share to me. She then responds by sending me this crazy breakdown $400 for etc. + $65 for breakdown of bill + $400 etc. .I pay her $800 and tell her if she wants to push this any further she can, I'm not paying $65 for a ridiculous breakdown of a bill. I unfortunately did not get an estimate from him and have been told since from other builders that I was ripped off. I often wonder if he is personally aware of whats going with the billing portion of his office. 10 I have kept all correspondence that took place as well as the bills if anyone would like to view them.
