There were some glitches with the sales process due to the change in HECO rules but once we were able to get over that hump the actual installation was quick and painless and the workers were extremely professional. I have had the system for over 6 months and my bills have gone from about $500 a month to the minimum $17. I received my tax credits so the actual cost was less than half of what Sunetric charged. I am very happy with helping the, environment and saving money. I would recommend Sunetric but be very clear that you understand the tax credits and the HECO net metering situation before you enter into any agreement.

After obtaining five quotes, felt Sunetric was the best value. We have a lot of roof space so we didn't need to go with the high efficient (and high costing) Sunpower panels. Representatives were not pushy. Took a little over a month from the time I signed our contract until panels were installed and producing power. Install was done in professional manner over a two day period. Have had no leaks or problems since. Producing more than expected and electricity bill went from $350 to $14. Return on investment just over 3 years.

Everythiing went fine in a timely manner

The entire process was done in a professional manner. Workers were considerate, competent, and on time. We have a stone tile roof with some challenges abut different heights but Sunetric did everything in just a few days. We were very pleased by the professionalism of all of the Sunetrics employees and recommend them highly.

Excellent job. Company did everything they said they would do and did it in a timely manner. The finished product yielded the results the company said it would. My electric bills for the past 6 months are all under $20.00 per month which is a savings of about $150.00 per month. It was a pleasure to do business with this company. Every individual I dealt with was top notch from sales to installation. I would highly recommend this company.

Sunetric did a great job! They offered the best products on the market -mostly American products, and had great financing solutions. The installs (several rental properties) were executed beautifully. No problems. -And they were super focused on safety while at my property. A++ I wouldn't use anyone else.

No system purchased

We got several quotes for a PV system for our brand new house. We were most impressed by Shaun Davenport's professionalism and knowledge. Every promise he made was kept. Sunetric uses no contractors - they are all employees which I believe gives you better service. He went above and beyond, always responded quickly, never acted like I was bothering him with my numerous questions. The rest of the staff was just as great. They totally dealt with our HOA and getting approval from the board. We personally recommend Shaun and Sunetric.

So far the Suniva panels have reached their solar watt capacity. I have been sending Sunnetric my electric bills for the past 6 months for their review and to ensure that I was reaching maximum electrical credit. The problem is that the salesman told me that it would reduce my bill by 85% on average. I took that to mean every month. He meant annually. Some months the production is more but some months it is less. I should have emphasized that I wanted the same production 365 days, not on average. He suggested adding a few more panels which should have been done at inception to avoid the installation cost. Be sure to specify how much you expect your electric bill to be reduced every month and you will get a more realistic estimate of costs. Had I known that I could use a few more panels, I might have gone with Alternate Energy and used Mitsubishi panels instead. I didn't because of the lowball bid. Still, my electric bills are reduced on average between $359-450 every month depending on the season. But it is very important to get an appropriate bid from several vendors and ensure that the bids are comparable.

They did wrong by me. They forgot to order half of the solar panel system. It takes several months to get an appointment and all the materials ready for the job. The installation was supposed to take one week. They got started with the job and did half the job when they realized that they didn't order half of the components they needed to finish the system. They said it would take a week or two to get the parts in because they had to order them from the mainland. I waited a three weeks and called them. I asked what is going on because my house was a construction zone. The job ended up taking 6 weeks. I had to cancel some guest coming over. The office would never communicate properly with me. The job they did was excellent. I would not recommend them for a custom job. I am not satisfied with their customer service. Their price was average.

.They came out to talk to us and gave us money just for coming out. They are all about saying this is what we want to do. A lot of company's are doing that now giving away free solar panels makes us wonder if they give them away free then what kind of product do you have?

The work and price were good.

It is a great feeling to get my electric bill every month and see that it is $18.26 rather than $350 which it was a year ago. I first met Sunetric at a local building show along with several other photovoltaic contractors. Sunetric was the most professional form start to finish. Their consultant (Sebastian) answered my many questions and submitted a professional and detailed proposal. I asked a lot of questions, I might add and the consultant even made multiple visits to my house to help me understand the options I was considering (multiple micro-inverters versus a single large inverter,) panel ratings, and the wiring considerations. I'm very glad I went with a micro-inverter system. The system was installed in two phases (across 2 years) for tax purposes. Most of my south-facing roof has panels on it now and I have noticed that the house is just a bit cooler this year than it was last year. During both installations, the installation personnel arrived on time, were professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. Bolting racks on top of your roof can be stressful for a homeowner, but the installers were careful and conscientious. One of the things that they had not anticipated was the amount of work that they had to do on my electrical system. My circuit breaker box had to be upgraded and brought in to compliance with the electrical code. They did this and did an excellent job. Their consultant remained involved in every stage of the process including showing up during the installations and calling to check on how happy I was about the project's progress. They had an engineer visit a few days after the initial install to help me get the monitoring system up and running. He also showed up when he said he would and finished his work quickly. I would strongly recommend Sunetric to anyone considering a PV or solar hot water installation. The price on the micro-inverter system is just a bit more than a traditional single large inverter system, but the efficiency, fault resistance, and fault resilience of the system makes the small additional expense worthwhile.
