Stan always responded the same day. Came to the house himself to give an estimate. Knew the history of plumbing condition in the neighborhood. Communicated clearly, professional, gave good advice and assessed problem accurately.

The plumber did a great job and he was very efficient. We have used Stan several other times and I would highly recommend his team for any plumbing job. They really are the best.

I cannot say enough good things abour Stan's Local Plumbing. He and his crew are always on time, professional and curteous--a real pleasure to work with. He charges a fair price as well. We will use Stan for all of our future plumbing repairs and upgrades.

Contractor did a wonderful job of: 1) carefully assessing the problems, 2) estimating the cost of materials and why he recommended certain brands over others, 3) showing what needed to be done and how they were going to execute it, and most importantly, 4) thoroughly explaining why certain protocols were being followed to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to maximum safety standards. For example, Stan did not want fires to be started from cutting tools, so he and his assistant were careful to wet the wood before starting the job. When going in, they discovered an old rats' nest in the wall and cleaned it out. Stan also required the use of a separate contractor (carpentry and electrical) to open and close the bathroom wall in which both plumbing and electrical lines were housed. The subcontractor also removed and replaced the trim around the shower wall. The job was beautifully done. We are extremely pleased with his professionalism and expertise in his field and those that are closely related in the housing industry. We learned a lot from this experience and highly recommend Stan's Local Plumbing to others who require this type of work.

Had a shower clog that ran very deep. Stan had Steve come out to clean it out. The shower drain works great, he was on time, able to show up the next business day, and he was very friendly. I would use their services again.

My pipes are a mixture of old galvanized and copper. I had planned to do them all over in the near future but wasn't ready right now. As a matter of fact, I had begun taking estimates. When Stan came, he assessed the situation quickly, and proceeded to do a VERY complicated repair that would enable me to have the hot water. I watched him create a new pipe and not disturb the other old pipes. Unbelievable!! He is very talented!! Needless to say, I have found my plumber and know why so many of my friends use him and why he has so many good reviews.

I wanted to find a plumber on the Windward side of Oahu as I live in Kaneohe. I've had mixed experiences using the larger commercial companies and wanted to try a smaller company this time. Looked through the Yellow Pages and Angie's List. Saw the listing for Stan's Local Plumbing and the ad he ran in the MidWeek. So I called and the woman who answered the phone was very helpful in giving me a price quote and finding the best discount. I scheduled the appointment. Stan came between the hours specified, explained everything he was doing, and did the job quickly.

They are friendly, explained everything, and gave me a head's up to how much it would cost. I agreed for them to do the repairs, I've used them in the past, trust them, and absolutely have no complaints I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

They are prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair.
