Business owner was too busy for first week or so, but promised to get back to us when he was not so overwhelmed. When we did not hear anything for over a week, we contacted him. We were told that because we lived in Kahalu, it would be awhile. Never heard back, so got someone else that did not waste our time.

Best appliance repair service I have used. I didn't have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with the large national company I initially contacted. Mike was there the next day with the correct replacement parts. The cost for the repairs was very reasonable.

Great. He was able to come out the same day to look at the problem, and came back the next with the needed parts to fix. Reasonable price.

Mike was great! He brought the part and had it switched out in under an hour.

We started with a brief exchange of messages. Mike asked for the model numbers and he came by the day after I called, exactly on time to diagnose the dishwasher problem. He returned the next day with the necessary replacement for the broken $60 part and completed the installation. Total cost includes the cost of the broken part. Mike is very courteous, friendly, and honest. I was not asked to write this review and I had never used Square Repair before. Of course, I would use them again if needed.

Had a problem with our refrigerator freezing up. Called and left a message, Mike quickly responded and came out the next day, on a Sunday! Wasn't there more that a few minutes, suggested a quick fix, reset my fridge, hung out to see if it worked, and that quick, appeared to be fixed. We had to wait about 12 hours to be sure, but a week later, it still works correctly. And since he didn't think he really did anything, he wouldn't charge us. Well he has our business from here on out. Thank you Mike, my eggs, fruit and vegetables really appreciate your help! And my wife too! Aloha! -John

He didn't repair the old machine. He didn't give me a bill but I gave him $25 anyways for his time and honesty. Thanks Mike.

In my case Mike was able to come in less than 24 hours which was great since we had food spoilage concerns. He wrote back within hours of my putting the schedule on Angie's list and called the next morning to firm up the schedule. He defrosted the freezer quickly with a steamer and replaced the thermostat. I don't think he was here an hour. Good guy and knows what he is doing. I would use him again or refer him. Thanks Mike!!

Mike called me and set an appointment to fix my Freezer. He was one of the only appliance repair places that returned my call as I had this problem on a weekend. He came out on Sunday night to help me! He was professional and quick. Cleaned up after the job was done. I really appreciate his help and would use him again!

Mike returned my call within 24 hours. We scheduled an appointment, and he called about 1/2 hour before the agreed time to see if he could come by early. It took him about 1 hour to repair the washing machine. He had the parts with him and worked in a cramped area. I was impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Square Repair.

The temperature in my 11-year-old refrigerator/freezer started going up. I called several firms on Sunday that I had looked up on Angie's List. There was only one where a person answered, but I was told that the single worker that day was on the other side of the island and wouldn't be able to service me. The guy didn't offer to set a future appointment, and he had an accent that made him hard for me to understand, so I didn't pursue an appointment. I left messages with some other firms, and the only one that returned my call was Mike at Square Repair. I described my problem and he explained the possible causes. He was working on another repair at the time and we set up an appointment for the next day (Monday). I didn't know whether I should just buy a new fridge/freezer; Mike said if he couldn't fix it, he would just charge me half of his service fee. On Monday he called me prior to our appointed time and showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem--the relay was broken--and replaced the part. The compressor immediately started running again along with the cooling fan. Total cost was $59 for the part and $70 for the service call (plus our State excise tax). Mike, who is a one-man operation, was efficient, professional and matter-of-fact but friendly. I felt like he knew his stuff and was trust-worthy. I would hire him again.

Service provider was prompt in returning calls and able to come much more quickly than Sears. Figured out the problem immediately, and was pretty accommodating with times to come back and do the repair. Service was great and way cheaper than I thought it would be. I'd call him back for any similar repairs in the future.

He came out here and did a review as to what was wrong with my present one and determined that it was not repairable. He did not charge me for that. He left, and when I went out and bought a new one, I hired him to install it. For the entire process including the first visit and the installation which both totaled almost 2 hours, he only charged me $100.00. He was one time and prompt.
