+ -1 moreWe hired the husband-wife team, Kelso Architects for our house remodel project. We never met the husband, only the wife, Lisa Kelso had communicated with us. Their fee was 10% of the construction cost. Once we had paid them for measuring and CAD drawings of the house, Lisa Kelso's responsiveness and professionalism went downhill. I had provided our wish list written in a specification requirements document and it seemed she had never read or understood any of our scope of work communicated. Lisa Kelso has a high-strung personality; was not easy to work with - I would recommend to look for talented architects who respect homeowners' wishes and dreams.

+ -1 moreRelationship was complicated by a 3rd party advisor that I had BUT that still does NOT excuse them for continuing down a development path that I had explicity decided against, AND in fact not following the revised replan I wanted to explore. I would NOT recomeent them to anyone.
