Honey Do Handyman

This is the second time I have used Honey Do Handyman services and am very pleased with his work. He is very knowledgeable, punctual, and works continuously. I would highly recommend his services.

Everything went well. This is the second time I've used Avelon of Honey Do Handyman. I've been satisfied both times. He arrived on time and he worked the whole time he was here. I'm happy with his completed work and I will use him again.

Avalon is prompt and professional, and he does good work. He brought many of his own tools and he has a lot of know-how. He has previously done several varied jobs around our home.

Punctuality, professionalism and email communication was quick and concise. Job was done well.

Every job was done perfectly, quickly, and with absolutely no complaints from me.

No contact, no service, even after several attempts.

This was a big deal purchase. I think overall my husband said it was pretty good. It was just really difficult to get hold of him and schedule a date. I guess it took two tries from Angie's List for him to finally call us to schedule. We did not hear from him until about two weeks after we bought the deal. I don't think there was any additional cost. Their responsiveness was really bad. He did not work on weekends.

I could not be more happy. All of the above projects were just accumulating and driving me crazy. The Honey Do Handyman arrived on time and was ready to work. I appreciate that we were able to work out date for his appointment in a very timely manner. He did excellent work. My son is coming home for Christmas and we're having a family holiday dinner soon, so I'm very happy that all these projects were completed in time for me to enjoy my family and the holidays. Thank you Angie's List and Honey Do Handyman. I will definitely use him again and will recommend him to my friends and family.

- Professional approach to his duties - Cleans up, guards against accidents, ... the little BIG things if you will. - Steady worker, required zero haranguing - Quallity work like this is difficult to locate here in Hawaii

Fantastic work by Avalon. He's helping with some long deferred projects. Work is first rate. Plan on using him again for a couple more small jobs.

November 2015 - Avalon reached out to correct this issue. Still discussing which project he will work on. Will definitely amend this review once work is complete. This grade was a reflection of response time despite purchasing the "deal of the day", not on work performed. December 2015 - Work was completed over a period of two weeks - had a delay due to problems in our electrical work which he was able to identify. In the end, he was professional throughout the time he worked with us and gave us a great kitchen backsplash. I am happy that he worked with us through the initial communication problems to finish the job. Will use again.

Avalon is an excellent worker, and very trustworthy. He has done much work on my house, and I have been happy with all of it.

Excellent job! I'm extremely satisfied with our beautiful cedar fence! The fence was partly built, and we were unable to finish the work ourselves. Avalon was willing and able to help us, even though we were sort of designing as we went along. (Not all workmen are patient enough to do this!) We're really pleased with the result. Avalon arrived promptly, worked steadily and carefully, and consulted with us on a variety of design decisions. His hourly rate was quite fair, considering his various skills. Very well done! We're hoping to hire him for further work .

Avalon responded promptly to my phone call. One thing was fairly urgent and he took care of that right away - on a holiday. For the less urgent items, he said that he would be available mid January and he did complete the work when he said he would. My only suggestion would be that he have something that identifies his company when he comes to do an estimate. This could be a shirt or a business card or a sign on his work van. He seems like an honest and trustworthy person and he did what he agreed to do at a fair price.

Avalon was efficient and effective with his time. He was patient while evaluating possible placement and offered suggestions.i added an additional project involving shelving, which he cleverly resolved. I definitely will call on him again. His fee was appropriate. I am very happy!

Avalon always showed up when he said he would and was ready to work. His van is equipped with everything and every tool needed. My husband and I have always tried to do everything ourselves but as we get older we find we cannot. We were nervous hiring outside help but decided to try. We are blessed to know Avalon. You would be lucky to have Avalon work with you.

Avalon visited the window frames, gave an estimate, made a date, came exactly when he said he would, and did the job in half a day. His work couldn't have been better. He even swept up the sawdust!! We will call on him whenever we have a handyman job in the future.

They did not give me the time of day...I e mailed and called leaving a messgae with details. No effort to get back to me. I would never trust them. I thought they were checked out by you before making the list.

We asked Avalon for an estimate to remove 6 old windows and replace with new vinyl windows. He came by promptly and was very knowledgeable and provided various options and his suggestions were spot on. The windows look great and we have received several compliments on them since. He arrived on time, was neat, friendly, cleaned up afterwards, and brought all the equipment, power tools, etc. you could want all carefully placed in his van. I was so impressed with his quality and approach, that I hired him to do a few more jobs. Then a few more after that. His work was fantastic each and every time! I was at the house for the first couple jobs and he was alone at the house for a couple other jobs. He is completely trust worthy and completes work with a high level of quality. He had to improvise to correct installations of past workers or when the closet doors we purchased were too big. Everything looks and functions great! His prices are very reasonable and competitive! You won't be disappointed if you contact Avalon.

Great....fast and accurate, neat and tidy....installed moldings, painted as fast as you can possibly hope, cut ins very good, great eye, had all necessary tools, cleaned up afterwards, professional, couldn't be better. Installed new sinks and faucets..in and out ...most accomplished person. You will absolutely be glad you used this service.

Honey Do Handyman was very good. His prices were very reasonable. I like his quality and responsiveness. He could do all different kinds of things. He had some equipment, pressure washers and things like that.

Avalon is easy to work with and easy to trust. We pulled out the carpet, scraped the rough spots on the slab, put down foam, and laid the cork. He put quarter round trim, and caulked and painted the trim, touching up the walls at the same time.

Avalon and his partner were prompt and knocked out the job quickly despite poor weather and a less than perfect environment. I appreciated their flexibility as they came back a day later to finish some touch up that was delayed due to rain. I would definitely recommend them, unfortunately that seems to be the case with others as they were booked solid last time I called.

He walked off and left a handicapped woman with no replacement. He only did a 1/4 of the work he was supposed to . I trusted him and he left. He left me with a $200 bill for the lawn. His work was good but I was disappointed when he left because I'm handicapped.
