Description of Work: I have a vacation rental and have never had a pest control issue that I could not handle with a few roach traps and non-toxic spray. Unfortunately, I did have a roach infestation in the kitchen which was out of my control. Kona Coast Pest Control explained their services so I could make an educated decision. I wanted to start with a one time service. My choice was to service the entire condo and lanai , roach problem solved for now and there will be followup service in two weeks, no contract required. + -1 moreKPC sent Don out to investigate the termite situation and do the spot treatments at our vacation rental house. He was informative and came back a second time to follow up. On the first occurrence of termite droppings earlier in the year (May 2014), KPC responded to the call from the property managers right away. At the time, I didn't feel like they shared my sense of urgency about the situation or had a follow-up/action plan but that could have been a misunderstanding my part or a miscommunication. Admittedly I was a bit freaked out having never dealt with termites before. Oddly enough there wasn't another breakout of termite droppings until I returned to Kona 5+ months later! So that's when Don came out and explained how drywood termites behave and did a pretty thorough spot treatment of the affected area. He was also happy to do a little extra spraying for the tiny red ants on the lanai out near the pool. It's also worth noting that the sugar ant population is way, way down. I don't think I saw a single one in the house when I was there. Overall KCP has been reliable, responsive and professional, which is something you definitely can't say about every vendor or service provider in Hawaii (to put it mildly). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Description of Work: We had the interior and exterior treated for bugs. We had found a centipede inside the house (not uncommon in Hawaii) and wanted to do what we could to prevent it happing again. The service covers all crawling insects. The whole crew was excellent to work with, from the first call to job completion.

+ -1 moreOverall, Kona Coast Pest Control did an excellent job..I will continue doing business with them. I trusted them to treat our property, which they did, was very specific about the insecticides used, how long it will last,, harmful or not. Left me with little to no questions, also provided suggestions to continue to be bug free for a longer period.
Description of Work: Callled Kona Coast Pest Control for an estimate...scheduled a date for inspection, arrived on time every time, had our home treated for ants ...but the gentleman that treated our property also sprayed and knocked down wasps nests. I will be having them come quarterly. They did an excellent job and was most reasonable regarding price, the quote for quarterly treatment was also reasonable.
