+ -1 moreWe had a main waterline break at our Ranch Estate in Waiki'i Ranch and the plumber we usually call couldn't get us in so I found Calvin's based on good reviews. Here I am adding to another great review for the incredible and quick work done by Garrett with Calvin's Plumbing. Not only is Garrett super knowledgeable but he is down to earth, explained every step and was able to get us in immediately and fix our water leak right away. He also made sure that the materials he used would be more secure and durable. I am so grateful to have found this company. 1 month later we had another mainline water break in a different location and we immediately called Garrett at Calvin's plumbing who helped us out immediately. Garrett professionalism shows not only in his work but also in the way he carries himself and how meticulously tidy his plumbing truck was. We had a little non-communication from the booking agent but thank goodness we have connected with Garrett. He is absolutely the reason this company is now our go-to. I highly recommend!!!!

Description of Work: I called to have a 10-year-old leaking toilet. Repair man got lost getting here but I was charged for travel time for when he was lost. He said he didn't have the gasket that needed replacing, went to Ferguson to get new one, more travel time. He replaced everything in toilet except what needed replacing, because toilet still leaked, charging $37.00 for a flapper that I stock in the house and change myself and pay around $10.00 for it. Altogether it cost $300.00 for a $45.00 part and 15 minute installation because it was misdiagnosed at the start.

+ -1 moreexcellent workmanship. The rough in for the re located fixtures was very neat and maximized the available space so everything would fit as I hoped it would. They were very accommodating to my remodel schedule making it easy to get things done in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Re arranged plumbing to move sink and gas stove for kitchen remodel. Came back to hook up sink & dishwasher after cabinet and countertop installation.

Description of Work: I know Calvin and he is a nice hard working guy. However, when trying to give him business, I didn't even get as far as an estimate. I work M-F, so had to call them for an estimate and I would take the day off of work to meet them. After taking the day off and sitting around all day waiting, no call. I call their dispatch, they tell me the guy is coming over after the current job he is on, and I will get a call. Well, no call, no show. Pretty upset at this point, as I could have gone to work that day and not wasted a vacation day to wait for"Michael" to not show. The next morning I get a call saying Michael can now come over and take a look. Wow, talk about terrible communication and customer service! It's too bad, because the owner of the company is nothing like this. However, if this is the type if worker he is hiring, I was probably lucky he flaked out on an estimate. I can only imagine the problems I may have faced if I was actually giving this man money. Sadly, I cannot and do not recommend Calvin's plumbing, unless you know Calvin is the one who will be doing the work. If you hear the name Michael, you had better clear your calendar and just wait for him to show up when he feels like it.

At 8:30 I called up to see why he was not showing up for another 30 minutes. I had to go to work. I rescheduled it for the next day at 8:00 am. I received a call that he was going to be late. At last they called this time and Eddie fixed the sink and everything is okay.
