Kevin did a wonderful job, we did not have the patio work done, but did have Kevin install a garage lift. We would definitely use Kevin again and recommend him to friends and family.

I hired George and Barb of Coastline Construction to remove banana trees at my house, install fresh landscaping and build a pergola in my back yard. George and Barb are incredibly nice people who were willing to offer up suggestions while also being receptive to ours. They were a huge help through the entire process, and helped my wife and I conceptualize our vision with their design sketches. Their entire staff was friendly and professional, and they finished the job on time and on budget. I will definitely will be using them again and I would certainly recommend their services to friends and family.

The soil settled after Coastline installed our artificial grass. Unfortunately it caused canyon like ripples throughout our yard. It has been 2 months and a few flash flood warnings later so it was understandable. I text George, the owner, and he had Harold and his two guys (Laie boys) come out and fix everything two days later. Customer service was second to none. No gripes or hesitation to have them come back out, tear up the grass, flatten the soil again, lay gravel and then even added cement. It looks amazing, ten times better and we are just as happy as we were my last 5 star review. George, Harold, Andrew, Laie boys, thank you all and we will recommend you to anyone we know that needs an amazing transformation of their landscape! Coastline designed and sourced plants for my yard revamp. They worked with some existing trees and plants to design a beautiful tropical setting, finding all varieties of plants and trees (some very unusual) in the colors I wanted to create my yard oasis.

Coastline Construction did an outstanding job designing and installing an accent area in our backyard. We really love the colorful section of plants they chose to use. I highly recommend them and I will soon be using them again to install artificial turf in our front yard.

George and his crew did a great job. The Project involved installing a septic tank re-positioning the driveway and creating concrete walkways which look like lava rock, creating garden beds, installing mature, coconut trees, lots of variety of tropical vegetation, as well as A deck build on the lanai on what had been a concrete slab, and an irrigation system and lighting. Overall, a beautiful job and stunning result.

Had my old yard completely transformed into a beautifully landscaped yard. This was a newly purchased home and the yard was very outdated. I received a drawing of what my yard would look like and it was the yard I truly dreamed of! It took a few weeks, even with the rain but it turned out awesome! We had new grass, stepping stones, and an area for the grill. My family and friends will enjoy the new area and will love having the get togethers at our house! The Coastline workers were polite and hard working even with the occasional rain. I will happily call them for my next project! Great job guys. Thank you!

George and his team are responsive, adaptive, creative, patient, and ready to educate regarding landscape design . We had the yard redesigned and grass, many plants installed, mulch laid down , trees planted vines pruned/shaped, many different types of trees planted. George is very knowledgable and helpful. We had a great experience and look forward to calling on them for future landscaping projects.

My family and I were in a hurry to get our yard landscaped for our dog. We are in the process of selling our other house and the yard at the house we are in now was a complete mess. The yard was overgrown weeds, couple of trees, and wild bushes. In a matter of four days Harold, Andrew and their team completely transformed our yard and provided us with so much more than we imagined. This all happened starting the day after Christmas. The suggestions and care we received in such a short period of time contributed greatly to the final product and has improved our way of life greatly. The pricing was comparable to other quotes we received. The real value came from the work performed by Harold, Andrew, and the rest of the crew (worked closely with Harold and Andrew) combined with them both communicating everything, start to finish. That combined with George and Barbara checking in and making sure things were going as we wanted and expected made everything that much better.

Beware. George is nice and will convince you things will be ok. A 2mo job turned into over 15 months. They left with over $10,000 in unfinished work, damaged the home with tractors, failed to follow instructions on application. Beware of Leo - highly irresponsible. Day laborers will show up to do work unsupervised and quality will suffer. Lies upon lies. Very unethical and unscrupulous. They were hired to drain the back yard to the street -- and literally sloped the pipe toward the back yard endangering our home. Had to pay thousands to redo all of this. Over $15,000 in unfinished work or damages I had to fix.

George and Barbara from Coastline Construction were awesome to work with. We hired them to landscape our backyard, which included sprinkler system installation, grading the land, installing a rockband walkway, and sod installation. We got 4 quotes from different companies and ended up choosing Coastline Construction for their competitive price. At first we were a little nervous about hiring them because their quote for our job, after negotiations, came back surprisingly low. However after working with them and seeing the end product, we are very glad to have worked with them and their quality of work was top notch. The workers are friendly and professional, but one major tip of advice is to be as specific as possible during the initial planning/design phase. We assumed some minor things were going to get done during the job, but it wasn't done because the initial proposal did not specify the exact detail of the job. For example, we had had a rockband transition between the walkway and the grass. We ended up needing to cutback the cracked walkway slightly more than anticipated. We had assumed the rockband would just widen as the walkway was cut back, but the workers ended up shifting the rockband back as the walkway was shortened. During a mid-work inspection with us (the homeowners) we ended up having the workers re-work that area, which was a small and reasonable extra cost. However, this could have all be avoided by having clear communication and planning with the workers and Barbara/George. If job modifications come up mid job, which they most likely will, be as transparent as possible with the workers and ensure Barabra/George are cut in on the discussions with the workers so all parties (bosses, workers, homeowners) are on the same page on these modifications. Last note is that the entire process from contacting Coastline for a quote to finishing the job was a very smooth and fast process. There were no delays other than weather and George/Barbara would be in constant communication to give updates on the job as it progressed. At the end of the day, we are very happy with their work and would hire them for additional services if needed.

Coastline Construction / Coastline Landscaping Owner came to bid the job but is too old to walk the site, so sent his wife to walk the site. She was too busy telling us her problems to listen to what we wanted for the landscaping job. He drafted up a short contract and sketch of the job, and told us if we signed the contract on the spot and paid 50% down then we would be on the calendar to start in two weeks. We had no time to review the contract or the site plan, which were both grossly wrong. Thatâ s when the real problems started. They started work 20 days later than promised, and the owner never showed up to supervise the job. He hired a subcontractor to do the job, but failed to disclose the crew were not his employees and whether they were a licensed contractor or not. The crew knew nothing about the job and the contract and site plan lacked details or was just wrong, because the ownerâ s wife did not listen to us or take any notes. We had many arguments with the subcontract crew over the terms in the contract and the vagueness of the site plan, causing a lot of re-work and delays. I never saw the owner again. My wife saw him once when he showed up to pick up the next check. He never got out of the truck and never walked the site to inspect the quality of work his subcontractor was doing. He was gone in 5 minutes. He pressured us for every draw payment, claiming he had already bought all the job materials and he was having trouble making payroll. We checked with the crew. They had to buy all the material as they went, and the crew had not been paid at all until after the job was done. Nothing the owner told us ever checked out. Every phone conversation and text exchange was a litany of excuses. He claimed to have 25 years of experience in the business but when I asked him why he started late and the crew showed up late and left early, he said because his jobs never go according to plan. You would think heâ d learn to plan better after 25 years. If you are looking for a landscaper, look elsewhere!

Company is fair, does quick and professional work. I was impressed with the first job that I hired them for another. I am very glad to have found them through Home Advisor!

Leo was friendly and helpful but other staff's job performance was sloppy and not professional way. They only work 2 to 3 hours a day. Is this normal way of business??

It was a pleasure working with Leo and the entire Coastline team on our recent sod installation. We were provided with a professional proposal detailing the work to be completed. The crew arrived on time and were very courteous and friendly, and appeared invested in doing the best work possible. Leo listened to our comments/concerns and offered explanations and rational for the choices made. I highly recommend Coastline Construction and will use them for my future landscaping projects.
