The floor looked great when it went in. Now, about 3 years later, not so much. Although I walk around barefooted, the protective surface is starting to wear off in places. Also one of the boards has developed what they call checking. For a distance of about 8" the wood has started to curl up in several places along the grain when the board gets damp. I was told this was caused when I washed the floor. According to its representative, anything more than a damp cloth is too wet for this floor. Essentially, your wrung-out cloth used when applying Bono is pushing your luck unless you're a lot stronger than I am. Their warrantee only grants replacement boards for any that show failure. They don't do installation (despite one of the reviews here.) So figure that about 3 years after installation you'll have to hire someone to get your floor looking good again. I don't know if this is typical of other places, so I'd recommend you ask of any store you buy your engineered hardwood floor from if they will replace (the actual labor) any boards that fail within their warrantee time.

The staff (JayR) was courteous, professional and helpful when I visited Wisteria. On the date I ordered the laminate, the shipment was suppose to arrive the next week. I waited another week to check on the status. I was told the shipment was delayed several times and would not be in port for several more weeks. The contractor had to be rescheduled and the tenants with a toddler were left with walking on a chalky surface while they waited for the shipment to arrive. I realize the shipment is not the fault of Wisteria, which is why I rated punctuality as a D instead of an F.

Met with store representative to purchase 1,200 sq ft of flooring. Was told the flooring was being delivered in a container and that if we wanted to make sure that we received the flooring that we would need to prepay for the flooring. We were told the flooring would be available in the next couple of weeks for pick up. Attempted to contact the company three times and was assured that they would call back as soon as they had the particulars. Called back the fourth time and made it to the sales person who also said he would call back, which he did. He said the reason that no one called back was that there was no flooring that we ordered in the container and asked if we would accept another type of flooring. We weren't happy but we decided to proceed with the purchased. When we met with the sales representative he informed us that there was an additional charge for the flooring because the wood costs more. If we floated the floor we would need a padding (additional cost), if we glued it down we would have additional costs for the glue. He said that he would meet with the manager to see if they could cut some of the cost because of the problems. Contacted them two days later and they did not have information on the final cost. At this time we agreed to part ways and we received our money back.

Beautifully! Did excellent workmanship, very clean and neat, they even moved the furniture. They were even on time.The referral to the installation contractor was great, Strong enterprises. The floor is amazing, the installation was 1st class! On time, very neat and clean, amazing work!
