Patrick fixed our toilet quickly and effectively. He showed me what he did and why he did it. Very professional and well organized. Reasonable prices. We're very happy and will use them for again for any plumbing needs we have.

Nat came to 1315 Kalakaua Ave. to check the water leakage right after the call. Nat appeared very careful and knowledgeable with excellent manner. He was a true professional. He sort out the problem and take care of it efficiently. Thanks to Nat!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! We had them run a waterline to our fridge. It had to go through the crawl space in the attic and the worker stepped off the beam and put a hole through our canec ceiling in the hallway. The owner would only pay for slapping some drywall mud to patch it or put up an access panel (WE ALREADY HAVE ONE). Both of those options would be highly visible. It was a perfectly good hallway prior. To fix it properly will cost almost $3000 and he is only willing to pay for half. He says it's "unfair" for him to pay for the whole thing. I have to pay $1500 for his worker's mistake? This was 2 months ago and nothings been done. I agree with the other reviews. Do not go with this company. Unethical!

on time the first time - fixed, but ordered new parts at my request, called and returned the second time to replace parts.

He came out for 1 hours and told me the toilet flange had to raised 1" to be level with the new granite flooring. He arrived the next day and had no materials but spent an hour and a half looking at the flange. He then told me he would have to install a temporary toilet for $850 and then get access to the unit below and jackhammer out 8" of concrete floor in order to put in a new cast iron pipe flange raised 1". The new plumber (Matt's Plumbing) came in two days later arrive with quick setting concrete and an extension toilet flange and the job was done in 45 minutes with a new wax ring and the toilet installed.

|Would have given "A" for Professionalism, but the guy forgot to bring a 10-foot order even though it was mentioned at the top of the list showing where the shutoff valves for the building were located. As such, He had to return to the shop to get the ladder before coming back to do the job. On the other hand, he didn't charge for that missing time.

Technical problem after installation but installer returned immediately the next day and fixed it.

I was pleased with the work. Greg is a great plumber who seems to take the time to do things correctly which is a quality that I appreciate. The repairs took three trips to complete over the course of five days. This is a whole home renovation and I don't live there so that was not a problem. I removed the toilet to remove wallpaper behind it which actually created the third trip. (My Bad!) Seems the plumbers at Waialae Plumbing have to pick up their own parts for their jobs which seems like a pretty inefficient system. I think if they had someone to fetch their parts they could have cut the overall time in half. Still though, finished today and done correctly! Office staff was efficient and friendly.

He came in my condo with all of his tools and the faucet. He went to the bathroom, turned off the water. He proceeded to replace the faucet and turned the water back on. I saw an immediate improvement. The water pressure is great and it is an attractive faucet. I would for sure use them again and try to get the same young man.

The leak reoccurred a week later, Imade my own adjustment and the valve works fine now.

Calling Waialae Plumbing is a pleasant surprise, because unlike so many Hawaii companies, there is someone there who actually answers the phone during regular hours. They made arrangements with me to have someone come install a water line into our fridge a few days later - it wasn't an emergency so the fact that it took a few days is totally fine. The plumber arrived at the tail end of the estimated time given - also just fine! The water line went behind my dishwasher and cabinets so we don't have to see it and that was a pleasant surprise. I assumed they would do the easy thing and just go along the wall above everything, but I was happily surprised. I do feel like the cost was a bit high, but honestly have no problem paying a little bit more for a company that's reliable and has good customer service. My kitchen was relatively clean when I arrived home, but I'm not sure if that was my dad or the plumber.. Being reliable and treating me like you want my business and value me as a customer goes such a long way in my opinion. I often say that I can forgive bad food (in a restaurant) but I can't forgive bad service. I am currently seeking a contractor to do bathroom renovations and have an appointment with them to come give me an estimate. We'll see how it goes!

They did a wonderful, neat, professional job. First theyinstalled the pipes to the gas line, installed the tankless heater, and then tied into the cold water supply. They even installed a new master valve to turn off all the water to the house, so I wouldn't have to struggle with the ancient valve near the street. This was not in the contract, but they installed it without charge. They were unable to finish on the first day, so hooked up the last pipe with a temporary solution so we would have hot water that night. They returned on time this morning, and finished putting in the other copper pipes, and removing the monster 120 gal tank as well as the 2 old solar panels and all the copper pipes and insulation from the roof. They cleaned up, even washed out the trash bin!! I definitely found my plumbing company!!

The work was done well, but I felt as if they were padding the bill. They were supposed to be just replacing a bathroom faucet and without asking me they started cleaning out the pipes and that added a long time to the bill. They used to be really a good reliable company, and they would never have done anything like that before. I will not continue using them in the future.

They fixed the leak and cleaned up after themselves.... we are satisfied !

They did an excellent job. The actual cost came in lower than the estimate which was a bonus. They were very professional, on time and even had it done in less time than estimated.

After replacing my kitchen sink, I had to move the drain because the new sink was so deep, that with the garbage disposal, it was lower than the existing drain. This was actually a very simple process. Waialae Plumbing came out and gave me an estimate of $425. At this time I thought it was a lot of money, but also thought it would be more complicated work. They came out a few days after the quote, and did the work. It took them less than an hour from start to completion. To their credit, they are a licensed contractor, and it is very expensive to be a licensed contractor in Hawaii. And they were professional. Overall, I'm happy with everything except the price. I probably should have shopped around. My fault on that one.

Nothing happened because this company never answered my call or called me back after I left a message.

Provider was hired by a property management company to perform services on my rental unit in Ewa Beach, HI. On their first visit ($96.60), they stated that the master bathroom shower valve needs to be replaced due to shower cam being frozen to valve. They made no mention of needing a new trim kit. Upon being authorized by property manager to perform repair, they took it upon themselves to install and bill for not just a new shower valve, but also a full trim kit. They did not break down the actual cost of the shower trim kit vs. the labor, but the bill for their second visit came out to $706.81 I'm thinking that the trim kit should have been gold-plated for this price. Upon inquiries from my property manager as to why this cost so much, he tells me that he was stone-walled and that Waielae Plumbing basically refused to answer his questions or to research their job history for a breakdown of the costs or the amount of time spent on the job. Upon later listing the home for sale with a local Realtor a month later, I am told that the faucet trim kit is VERY impressive. Given that this was just an investment property, I certainly didn't need anything fancy for bath tub faucet. At any rate, you must require a cost estimate BEFORE this company ever does any work.
