Description of Work: I hired Trees of Hawaii to trim back an overgrown mango tree and also cut down other trees and remove over grown vegetation on my property. The company employees did what I instructed them to do and did a great job. Overall I was satisfied with the work they performed.

+ -1 moreI have a mango tree and dragon eye tree in my backyard that needed to be trimmed. I called 3 companies to give me quotes. Roberto Cabatic is a certified arborist with Trees of Hawaii, Inc. I was impressed with his knowledge and explanations. The other two companies quoted $2400 and $940 and Trees of Hawaii was right in the middle. I was very tempted to go with them because Roberto made such a good impression; but in the end, the price difference was too great. I would certainly consider using Trees of Hawaii in the future if the prices aren't too far apart.
Description of Work: Gave me a quote on trimming two trees.

+ -1 moreOverall it went fine. The more directional the customer is and the more acknowledgement by the vendor as to exactly what is to be done, the more satisfaction will be achieved. Vendor was coopperative and client was not nit picking.
Description of Work: Contracted for tree trimming nad bush cutting on my residential property. Trees of Hawaii showed up as scheduled with a competent crew of five, and completed the job including clean up in 4-5 hours. Did what we agreed to and consulted with me about extent of cutback in some areas. Willingly follwoed my direction to increase cuts in some areas in order to accommodate desirable features of the trees and buishes.

+ -1 moreJob was quite well done. Pruning was perhaps more conservative (less severe) than other services. The plumarias might have been cut back further, as they grow so fast. Be sure to be specific with instuctions. Unfortunately, we weren't available when the estimate was done. All in - A great job. We'll use them again.
Description of Work: Trimed / pruned approx ten trees. Lowered height on two. Much thining of a large Kiawe.
