He canceled with a TEXT! And then didn't answer the phone for a half hour as my husband and I both tried to call him. Then he made all kinds of excuses for a LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient to have your rooms disrupted and expecting service that doesn't show up! And I had even told him I wanted an estimate for exterior as well. Glad I didn't spend another dime on this poser from Texas. Stay away from unscrupulous and unprofessional companies who screw over local people.
Description of Work: This Texas company that claims to be local... hires some local painters and shows NO ALOHA! He canceled a job 15 minutes before he was to arrive and used the excuse of canceling that he thought we (the customers) were going to cancel. This was after we spent five hours removing all the furniture and belongings from the rooms. AND after we had said see you at 8:00 two days before! His motto is "WE ALWAYS SHOW UP AND WE ARE ON TIME" NO SHOW AND TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Hire local guys and skip this unprofessional operation.

we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and we wont talk about the foul language used toured myself by the customer because she wasn't getting her way!! our DRP painter gave this customer an on site estimate on 6/20/13 the customer reached us again the afternoon of 6/25/13 and stated that her husband did not think the scheduled work to be done in there home on 6/26/13 was worth our $250 day rate(that's days after previous work done and on site estimate). I explained that the time and work order will depend upon the color choice and weather a single or double coat of paint would be needed.(also dry time)(the customer also wanted to add two additional walls for painting) I could not guaranty that all she wanted would be complete in the same day rate but offered that we'd try. the customer seemed disturbed/confused and continued questioning as to the work which I had already done in her home on 6/20/13 claiming that it was not worth the money. I offered that we had completed the interior ceiling and two walls(same room and is two color scheme covering floor and two walls),and rolled elastomeric roof coating 30x30 area on the roof(10 gallons used)and (the roofing contractor witch hired DRP gladly paid for the work done with praise and even paid over invoice) just about any one iv talked to says that's a bargain at $250,, as the customer and I were talking the customer had to take a call and let me go abruptly with me saying well I guess ill see you at 8:00 am and then the customer was no longer on the phone.. I just did not feel good about dealing with what appeared to be a disgruntle/unstable person and with consultation decided to call off our appointment. while speaking with the customer over the phone I apologized many times for any inconvenience.(this customer still wanted to argue) so I thanked her for her interest in the day rate painter, asked her to have a nice day and said good bye! she said( bleep you Anthony as I disconnected the call) since then this customer has taken upon herself to depreciate the painter on many complaint sites for what we consider a very small matter which could have been avoided when we suggested for her to (on 6/25/13) to get more estimates as her husband did not feel comfortable with our pricing and work scope. in effect we chose not to show up for battering at the hands of a customer. *an incident such as this may occur once in a thousand customers (as we have that many satisfied customers) all with no real complaints. in closing we'd like to ask everyone to please exercise patients and kindness as we try and keep all customers happy with our diligent, reliable, professional painting service.
