 + -1 moreSam came at the appointed time and inspected the refrigerator. He found that it was not safe to fix the 12 year device due to the fire hazard of the particular problem. He helped us with determining the size that would fit in the space in our kitchen and he made recommendations on good brands with good maintenance records, and ease to service, and key features to look for in a new fridge. He was straightforward, polite, punctual, and very helpful. We highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Sam responded to our urgent call for help as our refrigerator stopped working. He came to our house the same day we called him and as soon as his scheduled allowed, even though we are on the other side of the island from where he usually works.

 + -1 moreAfter phoning him the evening before, he came on time the next day and replaced the motor. The total cost was less than what was quoted to me the day before by Budget Appliance Repair, even after adding in the $55 I paid Budget for the service call to diagnose the problem and quote me a price. Budget also responded on the same day and was fine except the price seemed high.
Description of Work: Replaced "in the door" ice maker auger motor for crushing or dispensing ice.
