Description of Work: Fixed dripping HVAC air conditioning unit and replace a circuit board

Description of Work: I contacted PurAir thru Angie's list whereupon Pureair had a subcontractor by the name of Dante from Island Air manage the relationship. He responded quickly via phone, however all email correspondence with PurAir I was referred back to Dante by phone. Dante came to evaluate the lack of ac and reset the compressor's circuit breaker (which I already knew how to do). He then scheduled a crew to perform a cleaning on 8/7/15 but did not communicate date/time and just showed up. Luckily my nephew age 15 was home but that's not ideal for him to manage 4 grown men. This work was only partially successful. Of the 4 split air systems only 2 worked after the cleaning. He initially recommended reconfiguring to a "cheaper" central air design. It turns out that central air is $5,000 more plus additional construction and painting. I have reached out to 3 other contractors to get competitive bids for the split air system.

Description of Work: I have worked with this company for 4 years. Since they cleaned and coated the air ducts in my condo, my allergies have improved. They come and clean the filters quarterly at no extra fee. I also hired them to replace my AC unit, and it's working great. If the tech they send can't figure it out promptly, Pat, the owner will come himself to assess the problem. Pat also checks all work when it's done. He's really nice and will work with you.
