The job went to plan and was way better than I expected. The communication was efficient, the guys turned up on time and did a great job. My only regret I didn't also get the tiling cleaned by them as it's looks a bit dull compared to my shiny tub. I definitely recommend them!

We had two tubs to resurface. One had badly cracked porcelain and was rusting beneath. Oahu Tub gave me a quote via email after I sent pictures and scheduled the work. The guys were extremely professional and very clean and organized. I can't express how appreciative I was that they were respectful of my home and surroundings; their tools were brought in with containers and they were careful not to bump into walls or drop their tools on the floor. They taped off the work area with plastic sheets to minimize dust while they were working and afterwards... Wow! It felt like getting a new tub without the hassle and cost of pulling out the old one and replacing it! They did a great job of filling in the cracks and spraying a smooth coat over the entire surface. We waited the three full days for the coating to dry and have been using both tubs for the past year and have been very satisfied. The reason I would recommend this business is that about a year after the work was done, I encountered an issue with the work that I brought up in an email which they responded that they would come by next time they were in the area. The nice surprise is that when they did come by and take a look, they took ownership of the issue and made the repair right then and there. No rescheduling, no drama, and no pushback on the owner. How refreshing to find a quality business with a team that stands behind their work. I will definitely use them again when the time comes to refinish our tubs in the future and highly recommend Oahu Tub to do the job right in your home!

Work went beautifully. The worker Wesley did a great job. The bathtub looks like new.

Overall good. There’s a spot where it’s not as smooth but was explained to us. Because of lack of space spraying was a tight squeeze. Overall the job was very good.

A NO SHOW, NO CALL on a scheduled appointment set for July 31, 2019 Tues. Spoke to Jeff on Monday July 30, 2018 and set time to be here 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. He shows up this morning Aug. 1, 2018 Wednesday! I told him cleared out my bathrooms and waited for him all morning. He said “I can leave!” And walks off! NO APOLOGY whatsoever. Bad attitude and so UNPROFESSIONAL!! VERY INRELIABLE AND NO HONESTY!! Well, his lost and my gain to find out about his character beforehand! DO NOT CALLL THIS COMPANY!! To top it off, his comments back to me is so dishonest. I DID NOT YELL at him. I am a very educated person —psychology major with 3 other degrees —2 at University of Hawaii at Manoa, KCC and West Oahu college. I am very thorough and write down (make notes) on all my appointments e.g, time, day and conversation discussed. My appointment calendar is very accurate and I never in my whole life encountered something like this before! He claimed that I should have called to confirm the appointment time. He schedules appointment with customers so he should call us to remind us of day and time - - not us Call him! No business ethics at all. Reading the reviews on Jeff, I found that he has done this before and I noticed that his rating has gone done in year 2018. I wonder why??

The countertop looks nice except there was one small but very visible puddle of overspray. Also overspray on parts of tub. The company's owner said, "It's to be expected. It's never going to be perfect. If you wanted new, then you should've replaced instead."

They refinished both in one day and did a fantastic job! Both tubs look brand new. I was not only pleased with the work, the guys were also very friendly.

I had a wonderful experience with them. I previously had another handyman in to do the job and he completely destroyed my bathtub and I thought it was beyond repair. I contacted another contractor who agreed that it couldn't be repaired. I had three other handymen tell me it was beyond repair. When I contacted Oahu Tub Experts, he came in, he had the tools he needed to do a professional job. He cleaned up the mess that was left by the other one and he proceeded to restore my tub. I was so pleased. He covered up all the cabinets and the walls, such that when he did have to sand and take the other part off and remove the mess the other guy left, it didn't leave the dust in my house. He didn't leave it in the bathroom and didn't leave it on my items and I was really pleased with that. He removed the fumes from the glaze so I didn't have to smell the after-effects for days and really, not at all. He was wonderful, he was just perfect, and he left nothing undone. I would use him in the future and I would recommend him to my friends.

They were on time, the job was completed as promised, they cleaned up all of their mess, absolutly no problems.

I called to check on when he would be arriving and he advised he was going to be late. But did arrive promptly at the new time. He got to work right away and was finished when he said he would be. He left no mess for me to clean up. Looks terrific.

Jeff worked late into the evening to get the job done. The tub looks great and the tile is shiny. Jeff was professional throughout the job and the price was reasonable. The next day we noticed some minor omissions. Jeff was appropriately responsive to our concerns. I would use this company again and will recommend them to others.

This is the second time I have used Oahu Tub Experts. They did a fine job of polishing glass shower enclosures that were heavily water spotted. They also polished the bathtubs and sinks. They are responsive, professional, and provide a good value in terms of service for the money.

We are very impressed with Oahu Tub Experts. The former tenants in our rental home were careless and damaged the Corian by placing a hot skillet directly on the surface. They also put a stain in another area. This Corian was brand new when they moved in, so they did not do us any favors. It will cost them! When our new tenants get situated, we will have Oahu Tubs come out to do the work. Allen and crew went out of their way to quickly provide the estimate, and their communication skills are outstanding. This is not always the case with contractors, especially in Hawaii. We will update this review once the work is done, but at this point, we are very pleased with how they have treated us.

Jeff, Blake, and Allen were awesome to deal with. Blake came in the following day to complete the work, after setting things up with Jeff and Allen. After being informed the different options to make my tub look better, opted for the high end glaze for both my bathroom tubs. Once worked started, Blake informed my wife that they do bathroom sinks also, which I said yes to (4 in total). Total work was less then 8 hours and ready to use the next morning (I waited till morning, just to play it safe). I just wish I did this sooner.

Blake from Oahu Tub Experts was very responsive to my calls and requests to reschedule the work. He always responded in a prompt manner and was easy to work with. He delivered the work on time, at a good price and with high quality. I was shocked that he was extremely responsive despite the fact it was a very small job. I recommend them highly and wish more people did business like they do.

I had my tub glazed 5 years ago by another company but Oahu Tub Experts does a higher quality job at a better price. I am in real estate and would use Oahu Tub Experts for all bathtub refinishes and shower door repairs. They were on time, explained the process and did an excellent job. I am extremely pleased with their quality work and would highly recommend Oahu Tub Experts.

The guy/owner of company was on time, had good knowledge of his service and why the last refinish guy 6 years ago did such a poor job. My tub had been refinished at least two times in 20 years, making this a difficult job. 1st time s/b $300-$400, mine was $450. In my opinion this refinish business has a wide range of quality , so .....

Called them last week, Joseph came to look things over and provide an estimate that evening. We accepted the bid for the bathtub refinishing, shower door removal and shower pan refinishing, though turning down his (unsolicited) refinish the Cornian counters in the bathrooms as well. And they scheduled us for the following Tuesday. They showed up on time, did all the work in about 4-1/2 hours. We were fortunate that -- for the bathtub -- just removing the mineral deposits and ground-in dirt was sufficient to refinished it without recoating with anything. The bathtub ended up looking new, and we were able to start using it again that night. The shower required more work, starting with the removal of the glass shower door (which they needed to do in order to to use their equipment to work on the shower pan), and they were straightforward about the door probably not being re-installable (nor do they install shower or bathroom doors or enclosures)... and it wasn't. [We bought a (stall-type) rod & curtain to use afterwards... although, later, we may want to get a new shower door and have it installed by someone else..] They ground down the shower pan to remove what little remainded of the original sealing coat, the mineral deposits, and the ground-in dirt & stains. Then applied multiple coats of epoxy (the bathtub didn't need that, but the shower pan sure did). The shower pan looks new, though we still have to wait three days to let the epoxy set completely. They presented their invoice -- along with an informative "care sheet" -- promptly when the work was finished; we paid by check. Overall, they were professional, courteous, worked efficiently, and charged as per their estimate. We think the price was quite fair, and the results excellent.
