They picked up my laptop from my workplace on Thursday and brought it back to me the following Tuesday, having replaced my SATA hard drive with a solid state drive (smaller than I might have wanted, but I didn't think to discuss it with him, so that's my fault. The original machine came with Windows 8 - they replaced this with Windows 10. The outside of the laptop had a burnished-rubber surface (not sure what it's made of) but over time it had become really filthy, very gooey and unpleasant to touch - they cleaned it up like new. I also paid extra to have the inside and the fans cleaned up, since it usually sits in front of a window and I knew the fans couldn't be in any better shape than the outside. All in all, I was pleased enough that they now have my desktop to work on, since I haven't been able to boot past Safe Mode since early December. After that I might ask them to replace the broken glass on my iPad Mini. Note - they will pick up your machine - free within a certain area but for a milage fee outside that, so I brought the machine to work with me and had them pick it up from there. This work was done over the New Year's weekend, so double kudos for fast turn-around. :)
