John has always done great work for me from installing a garbage disposal to painting and various other projects. He is multi-talented and highly reliable. I can recommend him without reservation.

John fixed all faucets quickly. I asked if he had time to do more handyman fixes around the house & he fixed a bunch of things. I would recommend John to everyone looking for quality solutions

Window air conditioner installation

It was excellent, I've been working with john for about a year now, he always does excellent work, he's also professional and friendly.

Mr Fixit did a great job on our ceiling. He is friendly, professional and completed our ceiling work quickly. I would hire him again.

Work was done cleanly, no mess, railing was solid with no wiggle or play and easily supported weight. The cost was extreemly reasonable. Mr. Fixit was professional and personable.

Mr. Fixit responded to my request, but was already working on a long-term project, so he referred me to another counter top/cabinet contractor (CAA Hawaii Cabinets) and they were terrific. Mr. Fixit said they'd be good and they were! Mr. Fixit also gave me tons of information on what type of material to use which made a big difference when I went to pick out the style at CAA. Thanks Mr Fixit!

Requested a quote, took 8 days to respond. With a reminder on day 4 that I still needed a quote. On the 8th day, the response I got was "no thanks." Needs to work on the customer service part of their job. If they take 8 days to give a simple response. I do not even what to see what type of workmanship they have.

Excellent job done efficiently in a very timely fashion. Though I was concerned that he didn't want to give me an estimate in writing, he was true to his verbalized quote, keeping cost down and in the range of his quote (no surprises). I found him reliable.

John is busy for a reason, he is professional, his work is prompt, he communicates everything with you, and best of all he is affordable and transparent in pricing. I have used him multiple times and will continue to.

They never completed the estimate. Phone calls and emails were not returned.

John is the freaking man! I sent him pictures so he could give me a quote. He tells me that I would be better off fixing it myself and then proceeds to tell me exactly how to do that! For free! I just got done sealing all of the places that he told me to do and it definitely looked like that was where the leak was coming from. I don't know a lot of contractors/handymen that would be so nice and trustworthy. I hope his business all of the success possible and will be calling him from now on to pay for services that I cannot do myself.

He was very helpful. He made good suggestions when we needed to trim the budget. He worked with CAA cabinets and all went well.

Mr. Graebner reviewed the work I requested, offered reasonable suggestions, and went over cost estimates. Overall cost was quite reasonable for all the work he did ( about $1500, and this included construction supplies and paint and lock hardware)

John was very responsive, and provided many different ways to contact him. We discussed the job over the Angie's List message system and I finally set up a day / time. He showed up on time / 5 mins ahead of schedule. Was very professional and polite. While I can be handy I knew hanging a door for the first time was out of my league. Especially if I messed it up and had to order another door from the mainland. John came in and did the job right. He had all the tools, did excellent work, and did the work in the amount of time he estimated.

Very very well! He said first that the electric job is way too much for him but he hooked me up with professionals that are in the process of upgrading my entire electric upstairs of my house and bringing new higher amp electric from the street. He came by to fix some leak at the toilet that he know already what it was from the description and took only a shot time to fix it. He also threw in, while he was here, to fix my sliding door. Well, I wanted to hire him to do that too but he said it's not worth it as it's too old and everything would have to be custom made, but he figured out that it was just fallen off it track and he put it back on -- no extra charge. Let's hope it'll last for a while (it IS really old)

I WOULD/WILL HIRE JOHN G AGAIN! Our outdoor shake pool fence was in terrible shape. I tried to get two more estimates. Both refused to do the job. Once I paid him the $500 down, he was focused on it. He did a great job! Replaced the bad shakes in both fences and painted both in the same colors as the old fences. And even suggested things to stop the pool fence going bad again. (replace too hi sprinklers with 'drip line'.) JohnG did a great job. Worth every penny!

My parents and I were absolutely impressed with John's professionalism, timeliness, attention to detail, and advice. His communication skills are wonderful and took into consideration alternatives that my parents could consider. When all the details were ironed out, he went to work and didn't stop until the job was completed. He took the time to explain how to operate and maintain the air conditioner, he cleaned up and he took into consideration how the project would be viewed by the community association. We are super happy with his service and will undoubtedly look to him in the future for handyman services.

Echoing the vast majority of reviews--and the reason I picked him--he is terrific to work with. He is knowledgeable, professional, skilled, and very responsive. He explains things, makes suggestions, and embodies the spirit of aloha.

John replied promptly. He could not come out himself as my new house is a log way from him - in Waianae. He did send his associate Derek to give me a proposal. Derek & Darren his helper arrived on time, were very professional, did a good job and regularly asked me if I was totally happy with their work. I was. A big thanks to John for getting me some good help.
