Jalousie windows have rivets to hold the louver clips in place. Over time, the rivet heads would corrode and the windows can no longer be operated without the glass louvers falling out. I found out how prohibitively expensive replacement windows are, so I did a lot of searching to find a repair person. Made an appointment for a repair estimate with Rod, and he was very punctual. His vast experience with jalousie windows shows, as he can immediately assess and plan the work needed to be done, upon glancing at the windows. Did a very thorough explanation of cost and what work he would be doing. On the day of the repair, Rod arrived early, kept the area clean, and did a great job of repairing the windows! His pricing is unbelievably low...he charged me approximately 1/4 the quoted price of the only other company I could find to repair jalousie windows. And Rod also offers maintenance tips so that I shouldn't have to call him for future repairs for a long time. He has old fashioned values (respects your property, strong work ethic, and very honest). Some people tend to take advantage of that so Rod no longer mails an invoice after the work is done...you need to pay him cash in full, upon completion.
