+ 0 moreI made the appointment. Charlie, the service technician, came the next day and solved my problem of getting insufficient hot water from my solar hot water system. The system was long overdue for maintenance (10 years not the recommended 5) but the problem was probably caused by frayed wiring connecting the solar panel to the controller. He fixed that as part of the tune-up. I appreciated that he took the time to explain the system to me (I've had the house for about 2 years and never dealt with a solar hot water system before).
Description of Work: Changing anode rod in tank and PR valve on panel, flushing tank and panels, reconnecting wire

+ 1 moreHad questions about a maintenace on my solar tank that was performed by another solar company because it seemed the person did not do enough. I talked to Peter Maskell about it and he gave me a very good understanding of how my solar hot water heater works and what I need to do to and I went and re adjusted the settings the pervious person made and have been getting lots of hot water in the system. Island Solar Service is who I will be calling if I need service, Peter Maskell is sincere about helping his coustomers save money.
