Interior Design & Custom Cabinets

We received quote #92 on 5/10/2013 for two custom bathroom vanities and one custom dresser for our Waikiki condo. Over the next few months we corresponded with the manager Mark by phone and email regarding dimensions, design, color choice and installation schedule. We exchanged pictures of the door design, picked out the stain... These were scheduled to be installed Thursday December 5. A few weeks before, he assured us that everything was built and ready for us. We arrived at the shop on Monday December 2nd to see what everything looked like and were greeted with blank looks of "Who are you?" Nothing had been done, we were not on the schedule for installation and there was no file record of our job. Mark was conveniently absent but his assistant assured us that he was the manager and after looking at all of our emails and the quote was dumbfounded for an explanation. Mark had completely dropped the ball, lied to us repeatedly, and wouldn't even show up or answer our subsequent calls. Fortunately another cabinet maker in the area had materials in stock and Mark's assistant (sorry don't remember his name) installed them on the scheduled date. If given the choice between using Interior Design & Custom Cabinets to build your vanity or using an old card table with a rusty bucket, I would suggest the card table and bucket. At least with that, you'll have something. If you rely on Mark, maybe you'll get lucky and he'll make something or maybe you'll end up like us with nothing but lies.
