Description of Work: i got a quote from them after waiting a while. it was very very high and talking to them did not give me any confidence in them. in reading other angies recommendation for them make me feel like NOT trusting angie list because their recommendations are off base.

Description of Work: Repaired Termite Damaged House Beams, Installed Hurricane Clips, Miscellaneous other carpentry repairs.

Description of Work: Replaced a sink in a half bathroom (Shoddy plumbing) and replaced bathtub in full bathroom with a shower. Within 3 years, the grout was cracking along the base of walls by the floor. I called to ask for Handyman service pricing in June 2014. Was told by the owner that they didn't have a handyman service. I was then asked who did the work. I told HPS owner they did the work. Owner then said they would take care of problem. The owner called back in July 2014, and told me they didn't forget about me. The owner never called back or contacted me to do the repair on their work. It is now October 14, 2014 and I contacted someone else to to do the repair.

Description of Work: HPS Construction Services put hurricane shutters on 136 units in our community.

Description of Work: The general manager had told me that he was assigning a senior project manager to the job. The individual who visited my house seemed knowledgeable and explained, I thought, just what the work entailed. There were two bathrooms to be remodeled. Both had the bathtubs removed; one had a newer and better tub istalled. The other had a shower replace the tub. Both bathrooms had mirrors on the wall over the sink and vanities. These mirrors were to be removed and framed mirrors installed. All cabinetry was to be removed with new cabinets installed. The counter tops would be granite. Rather bring catalogs of materials to be used/installed, my wife and I ended up visiting stores (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) looking at items and materials and choosing what we thought wold look best. We then gave hime the money based on the prices we had seen and he did the purchasing, getting a contractor's discount.We were told the job would probably take from ten days to two weeks. It ended up taking more than 6 weeks.This company has/had no lplumber and I had to pay for a plumber to do that work besides the project manager couldn't get the plumber on time. During the demolition tha project manager had one individual helping him but other than that, he worked alone. In the beginning, he was on time and seemed to be working well; however, as the time wore on his work became increasingly sloppy. All of the material used on the job wre stored in my garage being used as needed. At times, he did not have the tools needed to do a certain part of the job and had to take off to go buy them. He installed the glass doors in one of the bathrooms backward and had my son not said something, using the shower would have resulted in water all over the floor. The metal frame for the glass doors were hung incorrectly and had to be rehung. The granite top for the cabinet in the master bathroom was miscut; however, by this time I just wanted him out of my house. The caulking on one of the bathtubs and one toilet was a mess, I called him and told hime it needed to be redone. He said he would be gone for several days but would take care of it when he got back. That was the last time I heard from him, My wife recaulked the toilet and bathtub in the master bathroom. The guide for the glass doors in my sons shower came loiose. He eventually fould a glue that would hold it in place. All in all, this was the worst experience I've had with a contractor or repairman.

Description of Work: Had a bathtub to shower conversion with new fixtures, plumbing, flooring, tile, sliding door, built-in bench. The company started work on schedule and completed the work on the scheduled completion date. The workmanship was excellent!! There were no price add-ons, no hidden charges, the final cost was exactly as called for in the contract. Very professional and courteous company to do business with. A very satisfied customer!
