HAWAII HARDWOOD FLOORING

Completed in 7 months. The only positive things I can say is that, one, their subcontracted electrician was excellent and very responsive, and that two, the supervisor worked hard, smart and was responsive. However, looking back, I would have been the project manager and would have wanted to hire the supervisor and electrician myself.

They worked closely with the insurance company and recovery people to coordinate their part of the construction (wood floor install). Ordering the wood from the mainland took a long time but their sub-contractor and especially their employees were competent and professional. The quality of work was good. Internal coordination between their sales and accounts receivable department was not so good however and repairing some damage caused by one of their delivery people took a long time. I would use them again because of the quality of the final work product and their ability to coordinate well with local contractors and vendors (insurance, disaster recovery, etc.) but I would expect some unnecessary delay/inconvenience.
