GUARDSMARK INC

Being centrally located in the most densely populated area of the island of Oahu, specifically Waikiki, we have noticed several hotels employ this security guard firm. We are unsure of the rate to service, the one thing we are certain of is their lack of professionalism. Have observed their guards on multiple ocassions gathered together on smoke breaks, running errands to stores leaving their posts and so on. One example of their continued lack of professionalism is at the Palms Condominium. There is one guard in particular that performs janitorial duties while on duty! Worse, he sits on a chair while assigned on foot patrol. Unless this firm has included both in their job description, it stands to reason he cannot perform as expected. 100% attention should be given to the safety of property & people he was hired for.
