Description of Work: Contractor took us there to find smooth cabinets. He brought ones for the kitchen out. They are scratched and chipped and hardly any color applied so any bump and the wood shows thru. Contractor hasn't been able to fix the lights over the sink which requires another board put in. Drawers and doors are ajar and don't line up or shut right even after his attempt to fix them. Very cheap and no attention to craftmanship. Very displeased with their cabinets.

Description of Work: I purchased cabinets for my laundry room. They were ready for pickup when promised and the quality is very good for the price paid. Although they did have a nice selection of countertops available, the cost of fabrication and installation was very high for the small area I was doing. To be fair, the sales/design consultant was very forthcoming with this information and I thought she was very professional and personable. When I picked up the 4 cabinets, they helped me to load it all in my station wagon and made sure I had all the accessories (toe kick, handles and knobs).

The company both sells and installs, with no 'middle man' which is probably one reason why their prices are so reasonable. Their materials are on site, so there was no waiting for shipments. Our sales rep. Samuel came out for measurements shortly after we committed. A week after that, demolition/installation began. Everyone from Samuel to the installers themselves was friendly and extremely professional. The workers arrived when they said they would, and worked very efficiently. The project was completed in 2 1/2 days. This is a Chinese speaking company, but we never had trouble communicating.

Description of Work: The one I bought cabinets from is called Golden Cabinet. They supplied cabinets for a kitchen remodel.

Description of Work: I shopped five or six different cabinet companies and The Home Depot and Lowe's. Golden Cabinets had the best pricing. The end price with lots of bells and wlhistles was what some wanted for the basic cabinets. We purchased kitchen cabinets including a sink (they had a good quality sink at a good price), counter-tops, and complete installation. We did our own demolition of the prior kitchen. We also installed all appliances, faucet, garbage disposal, and range hood. We used another company for the backsplash. The project included soft-close drawers and doors, bamboo impressed glass door inserts, lazy-susan corner cabinet, trash & recycling bin cabinet, and in cabinet pull-out drawers, plus upgraded granite. The built-in oven cabinet they custom made. We went and picked out each slab of granite, so we got the just the right pieces.

Description of Work: We bought kitchen, vanity and bathroom cabinets from Golden Cabinets and from the very beginning of the process the owner was combative and he mis-quoted prices, quality and dates of arrival of completed cabinets. We ordered a frosted glass cabinet that was shown in the showroom and when we received ours it was smeared from top to bottom and looked filthy instead of attractive. After literally fighting with the owner we returned it and he did it over again. It came back the same sloppy way so we canceled the order and settled for the clear glass. He overcharged us for a utility closet cabinet because he said he had to take apart two shorter cabinets to make the one we ordered. If this is a custom cabinet maker then you would think he could start from scratch to make a simple cabinet to hold a mop and bucket. There are many more issues that we had with this company such as inferior wood used in the construction of our cabinets, hinges that only open part of the way, unfinished parts of the cabinets, saw dust residues left in the creases and then stained over it. Wood that was given to us to finish the kick plates and trim for our cabinets was infested with live termites that we had to treat. Treatment was costly and we received no compensation for it. The underside of every cabinet was left unstained, unsanded and unfinished in total view. We highly recommend that you find someone else for your cabinets.
