Description of Work: Eric put in new kitchen cabinets and tile counter tops and renovated my 1.5 baths with new tile floors, new vanities, and new tile shower. He also put in new fixtures (including bathroom track lighting) and some appliances (like over range microwave).

Description of Work: Eric completely renovated our bathroom to enlarge and make it accessible.

Description of Work: We were buying a house. The first thing we needed to do was gut the master bathroom. Eric drove around an hour to come out and give a quote. He was professional and courteous. He also has a website that shows some of his work. We didn't end up with the house so his services weren't needed.

Description of Work: I live on an oceanfront property in Waimanalo. The wind, salt, and damp air can cause big problems especially on the ocean-side of the house. The copper gutters and fascia it was attached to came crashing down one day due to rotted wood. The eves were covered with vinyl making early detection difficult. Eric was able to come up with good suggestions to help resolve the problem and was able to implement some ideas l had. Everything from Stainless steel attachments, epoxy for the replaced wood, and snow roof latex coating under the vinyl should make the repair last. Eric was able to figure this out without any significant supervision. After a day I was sure the job would be done right. Eric was even able to repair the badly damaged copper gutters which was a very pleasant surprise. That alone saved me several thousand dollars. Eric also added a new support beam, where the roof was slightly sagging, in a very cosmetic way. I was delinted with the job he did. Without me asking, Eric sent me a refund check for the 5% when he discovered I got his name from Angie's list. I would definitely hire Eric again for any future repair or maintenance work.

Description of Work: We own a studio condo at the Island Colony in Waikiki but live in Colorado. We had a lot of difficulty locating a company that we felt comfortable doing business with in Honolulu. We got several estimates and sized up each of the companies giving us an estimate. Eric was not the very cheapest but certainly not anywhere near the highest. We had some estimates that were sky high and the ones that were lower were given by people who weren't insured and seemed a little shaky. There was some difficulty in getting this done because of where we live which made selecting materials difficult. We shopped the local Home Depot and Lowes here in the Denver area but sometimes items in stock here weren't available in Honolulu. Eric was patient and made numerous trips where he took photos of what was available there in the islands. The job was a bathroom remodel and who knows if this bathroom had ever been remodeled from its original construction in the 1970s. Eric gutted the whole thing. Everything was torn out. He then installed a new tub, shower fixtures, a shower door, toilet, vanity & sink, mirror, medicine cabinet, towel racks, and light fixture as well as texturing the walls, painting, and tiling the floor and tub enclosure. As with any job there were a couple of unexpected problems but Eric kept in contact, fully explained the problem, and sent photos to us. At the end of the job the new bathroom looked great and the workmanship was very good. Eric showed up for work everyday (6 days a week) on time and worked until the job was completed. Eric kept receipts for each item or material he purchased for the job and presented those receipts at the end of the job when final payment was given. Eric provided a written contract and did not require all the money up front. It was a pleasure working with Eric and it's good to know we found somebody at a long distance we can trust. We certainly intend to contract with Eric for any future renovations on the condo and there are some coming. I would certainly recommend hiring Eric.
