Description of Work: Smith's has lots of used appliances. The warehouse is full of some old junk that is too expensive and should be cleared out for stuff that can be sold. You can get used appliances, though. It's just dingy and creepy inside. I have heard they do stand by the fact that the appliance does work.

When I first purchased the machine things went well, happy for the sale. When I called the first time with problems, they came the next day and brought a loaner. They acted odd when I called about my machine and said it was just done. It was another week and I called to tell they it was doing the same thing, not emptying, smelled bad, and made noise. They came the next day and brought another loaner. Each time before me calling to check on the machine it was 10 days to 2 weeks for me to get my machine back or sometimes longer when waiting for the transmission. When I called the last time, I called three times the second day of trying to get my money back for the poor machine. When the boss finally arrived to work and I was able to talk to him, I let him know about trying to contact him and he started telling me how he didn't have to put up with my abuse since he had given me a free machine all this time.
Description of Work: I purchased a used washer from this company, they were very helpful is the original sale. I had the washer a few days and called to tell them that the washer was leaking, they came the next day with a loaner washer, I had to call them to check on my washer several times for the next two weeks to see if my washer was repaired. They told me it was done and they would be brought back to me the next day. I kept the machine another week or so and the machine had not been repair. It still leaked, and it did not empty out the water on the spin cycle, I had to make it go back through the cycle again, some times more than once. The clothes some times came out dirtier than they went in. I ran the machine empty with bleach in it several times to clean it out, still didn't work. I called and then came and picked up the machine again and gave me a loaner again. This process happened three times over the course of about 2 and a half months. I would call them and the boss would be out doing something, not returning my calls, always having excuses for what they were doing. Never being able to give a time when they would be there to get the washer. When I called to get the washer picked up and get my my money back for the machine I called two days in a row and then the second day I called three times waiting for the boss to come to work. The employees had to keep covering for their boss, not a good working environment. The work space for the employees is a pig sty of used appliances for them to repair and take parts from. In this collection of washers, dryers, and refrigerators my wash machine was pushed to the back forgotten expecting me to forget about it. When they couldn't locate my machine I found it three back behind more machines. They told me that the wash machine needed a new transmission. Why did they sell a machine that need a new transmission in the first place?
