It was a terrible experience. Catherine Lampton was absent, un-reachable, and uncooperative. She appeared to work more for the owners of the property than us, even though they had their own realtor. She tried to work against us when we wanted early occupancy even though the owners had agreed to it. The mortgage broker forgot to send some final papers that needed to be signed the day before the closing. His office team called and explained they needed these signed & faxed back right away. We don't have a fax, so they were going to fax them to our realtor's office. She wouldn't answer her phone. Only texted us that the last thing she heard from the mortgage broker was that everything was set for the closing the following day and we didn't have to do anything. She wouldn't listen to the broker's team or accept their fax. Then, she didn't even bother to show up for the closing. In my opinion, this woman is incompetent and very bad at her job. When we appealed to her boss about how disatisfied we were about her performance, he dismissed our concerns and championed her. If you're ever looking for a good realtor for the Hilo side of the big island, do yourself a favor and don't work with these guys.
